Storm Claudia causes major flooding in Monmouth & leaves roads submerged and cars stuck in rising water

Storm Claudia showed no leniency to Monmouth (Wales), and this video captures a glimpse of the destruction the town had to endure.

The street is seen submerged in floodwater, causing numerous cars to become stuck.

The filmer, Bhupinder, recorded the distressing scene from a window.

Monmouthshire county councillor Ian Chandler stated that Skenfrith was "pretty devastated," explaining that every house had been flooded and that residents were forced to move their furniture out onto the street since it was effectively ruined.
