00:26This time of season right now, I mean, I can tell the summer's gone.
00:29We're well into the fall, and we have no time for delays anymore.
00:33Four months into the season, Rick Ness is deep in the hole.
00:40I mean, at the moment, we're not even at 500 ounces yet, so we can't afford to be wasting any
00:45more time.
00:46If we don't see some gold soon, there's no way we're going to hit our 1,800 ounces.
00:51Just seven weeks remain in the mining season.
00:55Rick's now spent a million dollars moving a mountain in his Valhalla cut, and he's finally close to hitting the
01:03pay layer.
01:04This whole Valhalla cut here, you know, it's huge.
01:07It's probably the biggest project I've ever taken on up here, and, you know, it's really starting to eat at
01:11me a bit.
01:12If things don't go exactly as they have to go, then I'm broken.
01:16I'm done.
01:17Bailey's got a lot done in the cut.
01:19I mean, he's doing a hell of a job down there.
01:20It's looking like any day we're going to be a town to pay, and we need to get Slewson quick.
01:25We need to see some gold.
01:26The guys are with me on it.
01:28I know that, and they've been working their asses off, and that's just what we're going to stick with,
01:31because if Valhalla pays off, it could be the best decision I've ever made.
01:39Hey, Rick, you got a copy?
01:41Go for Rick.
01:42You can come down to the cut.
01:55Oh, boy.
01:56Well, buddy, I've got some honest opinions.
02:00From there, you can see how it dives right there.
02:03That's the slope, and then it continues there.
02:05But everything from, like, that edge, I dug 25 more feet down, as far as that thing can go down,
02:13and it was just still pure clay.
02:15What do you mean?
02:17No pay.
02:21Rick believes an ancient dried-out riverbed filled with coarse gold runs across four miles of his Duncan Creek claims.
02:31The 50-foot pastry is proven to run under Raleigh Valley and then downstream to Vegas Valley.
02:40Rick assumed this pay layer would be at the same 150-foot depth in Valhalla.
02:46But after digging down for over a month, instead of hitting pay dirt,
02:52Bentley has run into a 25-foot clay layer with no gold.
03:04Dude.
03:05It's all this clay.
03:06Like, where the f*** do we take it?
03:0725 more feet down, that's...
03:09That's too much.
03:10Too much for this year.
03:12There might be rich pay farther down, but you think about it, we don't know what's down there.
03:17Yeah.
03:21I dug a test hole pretty much just across from that elbow right there.
03:25Yeah.
03:25To, like, the edge of that over there.
03:27But it's just clay.
03:28Oh, it's clay all the way to the next cut, man.
03:33It doesn't make any f***ing sense.
03:38Sorry that I've got to tell you, but, like, the ground don't lie.
03:42It was all dead zone.
03:47It's a smack to the face, man.
03:49I know we did all this work, but...
03:50Yeah.
03:52It isn't worth it.
03:54All right, give me a minute.
03:55Yeah.
04:08We have no clue what's underneath this clay, and we've got to figure out something quick,
04:12because time's running out.
04:17Quite a bit going on today.
04:19You know, Rick's doing some soul searching right now, looking for what he wants to do.
04:23So, a lot of thoughts going through his head.
04:32You know, I really thought that this whole Valhalla cut was going to be huge for us.
04:35Bailey gets out of this clay layer.
04:37We just have no way to deal with that this year.
04:39It's just not going to work.
04:43I'm out here with seven people trying to move a mountain, right,
04:45to get down to a little spot in the bottom that's got a bunch of gold in it.
04:52When I wanted to make these big decisions, that would leave me,
04:56by the time I was done with this, with something that I could hold in that cell,
04:59and be able to do what I want after that.
05:01That's the whole reason I'm out here, right?
05:03It's, you know, I want to be mining until I'm 100 years old.
05:07I want to learn this.
05:08I want to do it.
05:08I want to do it right.
05:09And I want to be happy after this.
05:11And, you know, now I'll walk away with nothing, you know?
05:16And that's the opposite of the plan.
05:21I wanted to walk away from this with everything.
05:23And, uh...
05:28Yeah.
05:34This whole endeavor could be the thing that makes my entire life great,
05:40or it could be the thing that ruins it.
05:48I can handle it.
05:49I can.
05:50I've been handling it.
05:51But, like, just some days, man.
05:52It's just too much.
05:54And I don't talk about it with my guys.
05:55I don't talk about it with anybody, because if I talk about it,
05:57it makes it real.
05:58And then I can't f***ing control it.
06:02It's just not where I thought it would be
06:05when I made the decision.
06:06F***ing, and it's frustrating.
06:08And I don't...
06:08At this time, I'm wondering if it ever is going to be.
06:14F***ing, yeah.
06:15I'm struggling more than I thought I would.
06:17Damn it.
06:41There's no reason to slow down for me.
06:44If you've ever seen these retired people...
06:47I mean, the biggest thing they have to look forward with is to walk behind the wife,
06:51go f***ing shopping.
06:53Talking about things they could have done, they should have done.
06:56They're dead already.
06:57They just don't know it.
06:58Not me.
07:00Back that f***ing thing up.
07:02Let's go.
07:03King of the Klondike, Tony Beetz, is on the verge of breaking records.
07:08There's still almost two months of the season to go.
07:12And Tony is already closing in on a massive milestone.
07:17We're only, what, 500 ounces away from the target.
07:20Right now, we've got three boxes banging away.
07:23You know, six, 700 yards an hour.
07:25So if anything goes well, we should hit our 6,500-ounce goal this week.
07:32That is exciting.
07:34Tony has three wash plants running.
07:37Sluice-A-Lot and Find-A-Lot on the Indian River and the Trommel on Paradise Hill.
07:44To hit his target, Tony needs his entire arsenal of wash plants running full-bore this week.
07:53Okay, back that thing up quicker.
07:54Let's go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
07:59At the corner cut, Sluice-A-Lot accounts for half the Indian River's weekly gold production.
08:09My responsibility is, while running this land, we've got to watch the fines and the forest
08:15tailings that build up, you know.
08:22We've got a shot, Tony.
08:39Oh, .
08:41You see the metal separating from the edge of the drum?
08:44and that's not good you can blow up that end pulley and then you get a major jam up and
08:51then
08:51your runs get filled and you end up blowing gold out of the boxes because your runs will get full
08:56of rocks eh we got to do something about it a broken drum pulley on the course tailings
09:03conveyor has jammed taking sluice a lot out of action you can start digging down here you know the drill
09:15right start to the day though didn't think i'd be doing this a little bit of a project we can't
09:25just take the drum out we gotta take the whole conveyor off in charge of getting sluice a lot
09:31back on the gold indian river foreman cousin mike where he's gonna move the whole wash plan to a
09:38new spot where it's level sluice a lot tailings conveyor removes coarse waste rocks from the
09:47shaker decks but four months of wear and tear has sheared its drum pulley from its shaft and the belt
09:55no longer turns to replace it cousin mike needs to raise the plant with its built-in hydraulic rams
10:03then drag it out with a dozer until it's free from the dirt next he must remove the conveyor and
10:13belt
10:13to access the broken drum pulley then install a replacement reattach the belt and finally fire the plant back up
10:27i can lift up the plant hydraulically every little bit helps as we can get it out of the dirt
10:33there it goes
10:39it is just so that when i start dragging we don't wreck anything
10:50we'll start hooking up some cables
11:00dalton do you copy dalton go ahead go ahead everybody clear you guys get the away from that cable
11:10and that cable snaps it'll cut you right in half stay away from it
11:23stay away from that cable everyone's cleared tony beats wants to smash his 6 500 ounce season target
11:33this week and needs to get his wash plant sluice a lot back in action all right all we go
11:46cable's tight
11:54i already know it is now it's heavy cooling
12:05i'll have a look at it the plant free from the dirt tony can now inspect the broken tailings conveyor
12:14how's it going gentlemen
12:16so you got it out of the dirt you know make an old guy crawl underneath this
12:20what are you what the hi if he can't do that anymore he shouldn't be here oh what are you
12:28finding all
12:28over there the tail pulleys toast i found a new one let's see if it fits on each side we
12:35got a plate
12:36so we have to disconnect that plate take it off no just ripped out this build for it
12:42but i wouldn't want to screw around in the back here hurry up
12:49okay i'll loosen this one up len yeah
12:56i'll do some lifting and then we can swing it out
13:07and then can you walk ahead a little bit walk forward
13:17you're free
13:20okay maybe walk another four feet
13:24and i'll lift it up till it's free and try and keep it on the top that i don't hit
13:29anything
13:29okay good there
13:34yeah yeah we're good there well that was pretty successful
13:44yeah that's it watch your toes watch your toes
13:52he's out yeah so we finally got this bastard out as you can see it's ripped here all the way
14:00around
14:00so we'll first try to put the new pulley in getting back to sluicing as soon as possible
14:06if the shaft is wide enough then everything and hopefully that all works out
14:12but the other one is 56 and this one is 68
14:18uh-oh the one i brought is a little bit smaller
14:23uh-oh
14:27that's not gonna work so we need a new plan we like to hit a season goal
14:32so that plan's got to be up and running in order to achieve that until we come up with something
14:37else sluice lot ain't gonna be running
14:59the gold in the ground is the gold in the ground but it's a lot of dirt to get through
15:06it's just extremely frustrating heading into the home stretch of the season
15:12parker schnabel's 10 000 ounce gold target is in danger of slipping from his grasp
15:20we just need to keep the sluicing hours up we're going to be hard pressed to get through that pit
15:24this year if we don't have wash plants running so hit 10 000 ounces we've got to sluice all of
15:31it
15:33last week we shut down both sluice for and big red parker shut down two wash plants to dig out
15:40the
15:40last of the pay dirt from the golden mile we have a major problem the dirt can't
15:45be in the hole anymore we could just start making pay piles while the crew continues to dig out pay
15:55parker wants to get one of the plants back up and sluicing so we've built two big pay piles
16:02big red's ready to move next to one of the big piles that we've got of pay
16:06but now tyson's taken some time off timing's not great well that's a wrap for me right now i drive
16:14to
16:14the airport and fly out to my sister's wedding while i'm gone one of the major things that really
16:20have to happen is moving big red with heysen being gone brennan's filling in for him and brennan's going
16:27to get that plant moved this is the first kind of major wash plant thing that brennan's been in charge
16:35of so we'll see how badly he can screw it up it's on brennan now shouldn't take more than a
16:43ship
16:46hopefully i remember how all the pieces go together here despite being a seasoned dirt mover
16:53brennan rouo hasn't moved big red in five years moving a plant's always a big responsibility and
17:00it does always give me a bit of anxiety if i was to be honest with you we have two
17:04pay piles that are
17:05the size of mount everest here to get through so it's all a massive race against the clock right now
17:12every minute that the plant shut down is that many ounces of gold not getting washed
17:17parker wanted this thing solution tonight and i want to make that happen
17:24but i do want to prove myself here
17:35you guys are good with all this yeah yeah i was hoping to have it moved and set up today
17:39and
17:40washing rocks for night shifts so is your pad ready yeah better be
17:50don't break my wash plant he looked at you not me i should be looking at you first don't break
17:57my
17:58wash plant i can't promise you that hopefully these guys can get a wash plant moved hey paul we're ready
18:08to move this plant here mechanic alec kelly helps brennan move big red one mile to the far end of
18:16the golden mile
18:18oh this thing doesn't corner like a passenger car
18:23the main body of big red weighs 50 tons and clocks in at 21 feet high
18:40come on
18:42come on
18:45oh
18:58plant off the low boy brennan must drag it into place on its new pad
19:07and make sure the plant comes up sort of square enough so we're not twisting like your pad here
19:17favor that side of the bank and then sort of like walk sideways out
19:20to leave enough room for big red's massive feeder belts brennan must maneuver the plant to the edge of the
19:28pad
19:28by dangling his 58-ton excavator over the 50-foot drop feeling better about that yeah now just walk
19:37here far track down into it how close am i ah like two feet am i gonna drop hard
19:47it should be okay just lower your boom down as you go
19:54you can just push yourself back too if you want it'll dig in there you go
20:01it sure sucks having tyson gone here right in the middle of a plant move like this
20:08yeah it's definitely feeling a little steeper than i thought it was
20:18you're coming and stop there
20:25that does look a little gnarly eh yeah not bad you guys better make sure you remind parker because
20:30he looked at me said are you sure you finished your pad yeah dude a lot of prep saves a
20:35lot of time
20:35we've still got a little ways to go here but i think you got her lined up pretty good
20:40next step bring in the feed conveyor that delivers the gold rich pay dirt to the plant
20:46we can start folding up our radio stacker
20:51just cross things are looking good
20:58hmm that definitely won't last the rest of the year that's for sure
21:03this clip here that clip there and that one down there our coast
21:10and all it takes is one bad clip to rip and then the whole belt could be garbage
21:17the metal clips that hold the 200 foot long belt together are nearly destroyed
21:27and we've got four seams in pretty condition so what is that what are you trying to tell me here
21:31i'm really wanting to hang a belt on this guy are you serious we have one one seam we'll have
21:37more
21:37uptime for later through the throughout the cold season well how long is this going to take if i can
21:43get
21:43it to the yard probably six eight hours have it buttoned up sucks man i told parker that i'd have
21:48this thing moved in sluice and by night shift it's really weird night shift the next day
21:55already near the end of the shift replacing the belt crushes brennan's timeline
22:03is that pissed me off you know that's a lot of sluice time loss that'll be a 24-hour period
22:09of no
22:10rocks getting run those piles are just too big to have a minute of downtime let alone 24 hours of
22:15it
22:26right now sluice lot is down so i gotta figure out something improvise something there's anything to
22:33get that sluice box back up and going on the brink of breaking through his season goal one of tony's
22:41top
22:42money makers sluice a lot has been shut down by a broken tail pulley we tried ordering one but now
22:49we're talking about a week or two you cannot be down for two weeks we have to come up with
22:54something
22:55certainly with all the crap we have we can bag steel borrow some thing in order to keep on going
23:08let's have a pick this one there i was looking at that one here this one
23:17nice and thick is the inside 17 and a half oh that might be but even if it's not quite
23:25that'd be fine
23:25there seven things that'd be just perfect that would never break again then i don't think so
23:34yeah what do you think i think it's a nice pipe oh boy okay you're out i think she'll do
23:42perfect
23:43shim it gentlemen well it's against it yeah perfect perfect we should have this plan going before the
23:50end of the day after finding a pipe approximately the same diameter as the busted drum cousin mike and
23:59lynn need to cut it to size knock this out weld it on bingo have a boost fix a couple
24:06hours they'll have
24:07the thing welded up already i like it i think it'd be good you gotta do a boost fix today
24:17all right over there first what we're gonna do is remove the side plate from the drum
24:38so i just gotta clean that up so that we got a clean surface to weld on that will make
24:44a more solid
24:45weld too for the new drum
24:52all right
25:04now we have to line it up a little bit
25:15everything looks nice and straight
25:19it's gonna be a heavy pull
25:22double the weight of the old drum cousin mike must now install the new pulley on the conveyor
25:28to find out if it will work
25:34if we can slide it in we can drop one side in try it yeah beautiful
25:40okay i'll lift the other end up
25:52can we put a chain on there yeah i'll put a chain on this one too
25:57yeah i'll uh slide it your way
26:04okay
26:04all right that drum looks good i'm very happy with how that looks oh yeah
26:14we are pretty much ready conveyor belt's done hanging back in the plant and uh and we're getting
26:20pretty close to uh it looking like a wash plant again
26:30there it is no one move no one move no one move no one goes we're in all right we're
26:35in there now
26:36right on boys all we got to do now is just get it bolted up we're in business
26:49perfect we won't get old enough to wear that out hopefully we're getting enough to get our season
26:54goal in this week but we'll see it looks pretty good we'll be there for years and years
27:22we'll be there we'll be there
27:23back to full capacity tony's in the hunt for his 6 500 ounce gold target
27:30i'll give you a warranty of 10 years how about that okay now i'll be back in 10 years
27:43so
28:02well plant's set up water lines in and we're just waiting on alec to get the radial stacker down here
28:07massive pay pile that the trucks keep adding to daily so we need to get through that after moving
28:12the bulk of big red in one shift stand-in foreman brennan ruo is itching to get back sluicing golden
28:20mile pain
28:23just keep buttoning a few things up here keep busy until he shows up with that so i want to
28:28be washing rocks
28:29here as fast as possible stopping brennan from firing up a busted 200-foot conveyor belt
28:39i know brennan was really hoping to get big red moved in one day but i've already slowed that timeline
28:45down to get it figured out looks like it's still me myself and i here for this project there's no
28:52spare
28:53hands to help come on so alec will need to think outside the box this is to help feed the
29:00new
29:01conveyor belt into the frame of the unit just like that string this guy out we'll cut the old one
29:08off
29:10rip the old belt out this way the rope gets caught in the frame tie the new belt onto the
29:15rope going
29:15through that snatch block pull on the rope new conveyor belt goes in that's how we get it get it
29:21assembled
29:23we'll cut this in half and rip it off
29:28that's in half start pulling
29:44it's a long belt
29:59it's a long belt
30:01so we've got the old belt pulled out of the conveyor frame worked really nicely
30:07get my rope back here and then uh pretty well reverse the procedure tie the new belt onto
30:13this rope end and drag it through again with the truck get this roll freed up lay it out next
30:19to the
30:19mighty zoom boom next alec unspools the 5 500 pound roll of fresh belt
30:35this is perfect
30:43brand new belt
30:45so i have to make sure that i don't cut the belt too short i don't cut it too long
30:52i hope this is the right place
31:02you can't tie knots tie two
31:06done hook the other end of that rope up to mr truck and sort of
31:10drive out that way and this guy should feed in nicely to pull the new belt onto the conveyor
31:16and avoid snagging or ripping the new rubber alec has devised a unique solution
31:24we've got a snatch block here just to direct the rope travel somewhere away from the path that our new
31:32belt will be taking to get into the conveyor so we're not driving over top of ourselves got everything
31:38rigged up there we go
31:40so
32:17well we got our belt together i'm really satisfied the guys are itching for it and he's going to take
32:22the white kenworth there and hook it up to this guy here take it to brennan a day behind schedule
32:29brennan
32:30finally has the radial stacker back and is ready to test alex belt fix
32:38this is the moment of truth here we go
32:48this is the moment of truth
32:52testing
33:00well should we hit the shaker and get some dirt thrown at it i think so
33:06well i'm super happy to see the dirt going through big red again and i just hope parker's
33:11isn't happy 24 hours behind schedule big red is back sluicing golden mile pay dirt
33:25you're washing rocks yeah day late and a dollar short brennan that's normal i'm more than a dollar
33:33short what do you mean you've got 80 000 yards of top gravel sitting there thank you guys for getting
33:40this thing rolling yeah you bet no problem it's a nice setup super clean i'm very happy right now
33:47we're going to have a hope in hell and getting through this pile and all the rest is going to
33:50come this way
34:11it's just clay nothing but clay okay it's got me by surprise right now it's just not i just wasn't
34:16ready for that you know come up with a new plan rick ness is reeling from a gut punch
34:22after spending a month and a million dollars he's hit a dead end at valhalla now he's expecting a visit
34:32from an old friend
34:35hey rick look at this how's it go man good buddy how you doing oh pretty good living the dream
34:40oh
34:40yeah good to see you how you doing i'm good how are you i'm great we were in the area
34:46i had to pick
34:47up a rock truck had to look at the rock truck this morning yeah rock trucks i could use some
34:50of those
34:50i got 30 of them and i need more yeah price of gold is good everything is running good the
34:56price of gold
34:56is good i see what you and you and parker are doing and i'm just like man am i missing
34:59something
35:00the depths that we're going though i don't know that's uh that's getting a little out of hand for
35:03such a small crew but every now and then we'll hit some clay band and that mess you need a
35:07lot of
35:07trucks rick yeah we need a lot of drugs yeah and for that you need some of that gold stuff
35:12funny how
35:12that is that's right we should just go look at it there you go let's try the race car how's
35:16that
35:18oh it's got no brakes right now well who cares oh
35:33holy that's a hell of a hole pal yeah
35:47that's pretty scary young man see this bedrock we're standing right here yeah yeah and uh and
35:53it it goes down like that i'll have to come up with a new plan for that but and how
35:57many feet just
35:58loose 10 15 50 50 50 50 50 50 50 yes this is the 50 feet yep well that's not
36:04all wrong with that
36:05yeah for the plus side for us yeah three to one three to one race yes yes any drill holes
36:10no
36:12vegas valley we opened up last year and that this is where the channel went down and we got all
36:17that out of there and there's still a chunk in there yeah that's a chunk in there if you attack
36:22something like this yeah 10 15 trucks if not 20 yeah go like hell to really yeah to really open
36:28it up
36:28yeah that'd be something that'd be something that'd be something i can't afford that so
36:33nice bruiser yeah i like it it won't be until you get to the bottom right that's pretty much it
36:39yeah
36:46how did it go you learn anything new well you got a hole going down there but it is 150
36:54down to 50
36:54pay so that's not bad in order to do this you know you should go in big a lot of
37:01equipment
37:02that's what we talked about put a pile of in there yeah but it takes lots of money that takes
37:08lots of
37:08gold it's worked it's worked so far you know we've uh we've definitely stayed alive but it's uh this
37:17one's got me worried quite a few bucks going in there before you get it right yeah yep kind of
37:24tough
37:25that's what's got me worried the most is you know i i was hoping to be at this point pay
37:29this off and
37:29start really putting the money away and now it's turned into can i survive until i can start putting
37:33the money away yeah hey you don't want to become a seller do i or do yeah i don't know
37:41sometimes i'm
37:42wondering well well put a price on the table
37:48but me put it right you put a price yeah put a price on the table then you know
37:55there ain't all no worries right
38:16would you sell this at duncan creek rick's just had a bombshell buyout offer dropped by the king of
38:25the klondike i would be serious interesting because i like these kind of projects
38:32if you want to discuss that i don't want these guys around
38:40at current prices rick's four miles of duncan creek claims could contain over 50 million dollars of gold
38:55you guys i appreciate you stopping by it's always good nice to see you it's good to see you too
39:06rick good luck catch you later man yep
39:28it's a weird situation to be in right now just uh with what tony said i just uh
39:34kind of i mean kind of hit me in a way i mean obviously i know i know what i
39:39got here i know the
39:39value of it
39:44it just seems like
39:47at this point taking the money and running is just
39:52is it really smart or is it contrary to what i set up here to do you know it's
39:58a number with seven zeros on it gets thrown in your face like it's hard to
40:04it's hard to say no to that too
40:08i've never really been one to get pushed out of something when i wasn't ready for it but
40:13maybe i shouldn't be looking at it that way i don't know ah
40:19every time i think that you know i'm getting ahead i just get pushed backwards again and like you
40:23know that's it's whatever i'm not crying about it i'm here to take it i'm here to do it but
40:27like
40:27when is enough enough when there's a when there's a when there's a guarantee put in front of you when
40:32do you just say it i'll take that and i'll quit fighting um i've been saying like you know i
40:39was 30
40:40years old when i came up here 14 years ago and now i'm 70 but i don't know if that's
40:43a joke anymore
40:48you know yeah i'm not gonna have an answer today either so i got a lot to think about
40:51i'm not gonna have an answer today
41:20At the end of the week, Tyson has returned from his sister's wedding.
41:24Was there any good drama at your wedding?
41:27No, no.
41:28Boring.
41:29It wasn't pretty good, man.
41:31It's not a real wedding without at least one fist fight.
41:35How did Big Red's move go, Brennan?
41:37I wish you were there with us, but we got it all set up.
41:40Had a delay, though, with that belt, the radial stacker there.
41:43And he's like, I need to change the belt, and I tried arguing with him.
41:46You don't want to be the guy that goes to them at midnight and be like, hey, remember that belt?
41:52And it's like minus 10 out.
41:54The one you wanted to change like two weeks ago when it was still kind of warm?
41:57And we told you not to.
42:01But yeah, other than not, it went really smooth.
42:03Thanks for filling in while Tyson was gone.
42:05Nice work, man.
42:06Yeah, thanks.
42:07Just hoping to make you proud there.
42:08Yeah, Tyson, you want to see what Bob did?
42:10Sure.
42:11I think that says Bob on there, doesn't it?
42:13Oh, yeah, let's see how the bridge cut did.
42:15First up, Parker's wash plant, Bob.
42:19Over the last two months, it's been consistently averaging 150 ounces.
42:2640, 80, 100, 130, 142.7.
42:39Yeah, Bob's been pretty boring.
42:42Next up, Roxanne, running pay dirt from Ken and Stewart's, where last week, it pulled in 123 ounces.
42:51All right, Roxanne, 60, 100, 120, 130, 134.3.
43:05That's not bad.
43:07Finally, Big Red, sluicing the first pay dirt from the Golden Mile in two weeks.
43:14Here we go, Big Red, 10, 20, 30, 40, 40.25.
43:27Well, you know, Brennan, you didn't get a full week, right?
43:29You're just getting started, so it's a start.
43:32Yeah, no, for sure.
43:32Last week, we had 306.25 ounces.
43:36This week, it's 317.25.
43:40Worth $1.1 million.
43:43So we picked up 11 ounces.
43:47And season total, 7,365.8 ounces.
43:52This crawling towards 10,000 ounces is painful.
43:56At this pace, Parker will fall short of his 10,000-ounce goal.
44:02We were racing earlier this season.
44:05Well, I don't know how much I told you guys, but there is a new plant showing up.
44:08So we should be able to slam through some yardage.
44:10And so, hopefully, that makes a difference.
44:12Hopefully, you're ready for a good push.
44:14We'll see.
44:26So we went and fished the drink.
44:28I told him, but if for some reason or another, he wanted to partner up or he wanted to sell
44:33the joint, we could go over there and dig a hole, I suppose.
44:38Maybe we'll send you the key now, Mike.
44:41Yeah.
44:42Yeah.
44:47So you're going to weigh some gold up or what?
44:49We're almost at 6,000 ounces.
44:51Our goal is 6,500.
44:52To break through his season target six weeks ahead of schedule, Tony needs his three wash
45:00plants to deliver 507 ounces.
45:03Okay, let's do it.
45:05Pour it in there.
45:05First up, sluice-a-lot, running pay dirt from the Indian River's corner cut.
45:1118, 23, 30, you got up to 40, 50, coming up, 60, going once, going twice, 70, 80, 84.76.
45:25We might as well see the state home then two days.
45:29You made it sound like an auction.
45:31So once, going twice.
45:32I'll take it.
45:33Anyway, so what do you got next?
45:35Should we do find-a-lot now?
45:36Find-a-lot ran all week long, also sluicing corner cut pay.
45:42I'll count a lot.
45:4510, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, 80, 90, 110, 130, 140, 148, 148.96.
45:59Oh, you got more.
46:00150, 170, 100, 200, 220, 230, 250, 270, 278.18.
46:13Getting very close to that season goal.
46:15Pretty nice little haul, isn't it?
46:17Arsenal really want to know what the trommel brought in.
46:20Be interesting to see what we get out of the hill.
46:21To hit Tony's season goal, Mike's trommel needs to bring in 144 ounces.
46:29Y'all ready for this?
46:3210, 20, 30, 40, 50, 70, 80, 90.
46:45100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 60, 70, 180, 190, 200, 210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260.
47:01262.14.
47:02That is a good million bucks on the table, guys.
47:04Tony has hauled in a weekly total of 625 ounces.
47:12And that gets us over our season goal.
47:15Well, there you go.
47:16Woo!
47:17Over our goal.
47:18Tony now has a total of 6,618 ounces,
47:25worth a stunning $23 million.
47:38We still have a month or so left.
47:40Yes.
47:40So are we going to up our goal?
47:43We'll do the best we can, and we'll see how far we get.
47:46You and I have to go back to the hill.
47:48You're in a bossy, aren't you?
47:50It is my place.
47:51You'll love me.
47:51You'll love me.
47:52I'm not so sure.
47:53I have to go back to the hill.
47:54Oh.
47:56Oh.
47:57There it seems.
48:00Oh.
