টানা ৮ মাস ধরে নেতিবাচক প্রবৃদ্ধিতে থাকা তৈরি পোশাক খাতের রফতানি আয় মার্চে এসে নেমেছে ২৭৮ কোটি ২৩ লাখ ডলারে। যা চলতি অর্থবছরের প্রথম ৯ মাসের মধ্যে সর্বনিম্ন। মার্চ পর্যন্ত ৯ মাসের হিসাবে মোট রফতানি আয় এসেছে ৩৫৩৮ কোটি ৬৫ লাখ ডলার। বছর ব্যবধানে যা প্রায় ৫ শতাংশ কম। রফতানিকারকরা বলছেন, ট্রাম্পের শুল্কনীতির ঘোর কাটতে না কাটতেই বিশ্ববাজারে বড় ধাক্কা দিয়েছে মধ্যপ্রাচ্য সংঘাত। তাই সহজে ঘুরে দাঁড়ানো সম্ভব নয় বলে মনে করেন তারা। এ অবস্থায় কৌশলী পদক্ষেপ নেয়ার পরামর্শ অর্থনীতিবিদদের।
