00:03:04and each other in the ultimate competition now only two remain as naomi and emily compete for
00:03:11the title of gladiators champion 2026 40 year old naomi is a business consultant and hockey player
00:03:18who's also mum to two gladiators super fans competing in gladiators i forgot she was 40
00:03:24that's crazy she entered the arena to make her family proud
00:03:28whoa the green screen's kind of glitching her out there
00:03:33in the quarters naomi was victorious on crash course 10 points and raced her way to victory
00:03:41i just think i can't believe it in her semi naomi became the first contender to win on suspension
00:03:46bridge naomi you're absolutely brutal she eliminated ella to secure a place in the
00:03:51yeah she's had fury's number watch the show with your kids and now their moms
00:03:54fury's hurt but even so and naomi's opponent in the grand final is 23 year old sales consultant emily
00:04:02a cambridge graduate with a flair for languages emily's an avid rugby player but she's stepped
00:04:07out of a team environment and her comfort zone to take on the gladiators by herself
00:04:13in an impressive heat she became the first contender in the last 30 seconds on duel with cyclone
00:04:19if you make it to the quarters i'll be there in the quarters she took on cyclone again and blew
00:04:25her
00:04:25away and unleashed i'm so glad i got this flag emily finished second in the eliminator but her time
00:04:31of 81 seconds was more than enough to see her into the semis as the fastest runner-up in her
00:04:37semi
00:04:38she conquered everest again beating saber you're undefeated i love this new game she took a five
00:04:44and a half second lead for the eliminator and never looked like and that was enough as she stormed

00:08:36in front the war doesn't stop her the bend doesn't stop her she's gonna charge up the steps

00:08:56wow what a start from naomi she powered her way through that no stopping her
00:09:03so quick up against electro how do you feel i didn't want to give off that i was worried about
00:09:08that obviously i think i can run and but this really shows whether you can or not and i'm really
00:09:12pleased with myself honestly yeah i bet you look like you was fired out of a cannon halfway around the
00:09:16track there electro great sprinter i gotta say she's a great sprinter you know what i'm thinking
00:09:21though brad well we'll get you a little white helmet and get you on this game

00:10:42we started with ten male contenders entering the gladiators arena now only two remain and tonight
00:10:50tyler and josh will fight it out to be crowned gladiators champion 2026
00:10:5630 year old tyler is a computer science teacher who swapped the classroom for the arena
00:11:01to compete in the gladiators heats
00:11:04there he won on destruction gauntlet and the eliminator smashing his way through to a place in
00:11:10the quarterfinals
00:11:13in the quarters he won destruction again beating nitro
00:11:16it's all your third time lucky but despite a six second head start yeah beaten in the eliminator
00:11:24i have nothing else to give tyler thought his gladiators journey was over but he returned in
00:11:29the semis as the fastest runner-up when mo had to retire through injury and went on to beat finn
00:11:35in the eliminator in 69 seconds the fastest time of any contender this series
00:11:41it's been interesting the two eliminators uh yeah i mean
00:11:46he just ran out of juice in that second eliminator josh was on track to graduate as a royal marine
00:11:51commando that had to step back from his military career to care for his terminally ill mum and later
00:11:57became guardian to younger brother max he never let his army fitness slide though i low-key do want to
00:12:03get a win though especially with how against them they were in that semi-final and legend producers
00:12:11wanted him to lose that semi-final so badly won anyway but lost out to finn in the eliminator
00:12:17back he came though into the quarterfinals to replace the injured mark and this time won his
00:12:22eliminator that is overwhelmed got another opportunity let's go let's smash it in the semi
00:12:27josh smash collision you know you're doing something right when mark clattenberg says
00:12:31excellent mid-game and overtook sean of his four second head start to win the eliminator and secure his
00:12:38place in the final combat probably in his contract sales manager josh go head to head but only one can
00:12:46take the title of gladiators champion 2026 very interesting great to see you tyler welcome back

00:16:41don't miss okay and a flag in his hands he celebrates 10 points wow josh was so quickly
00:16:50off the mark and then a perfect leap for the flag and the perfect start yeah that's what i needed
00:16:57oh yeah i know i've been looking forward to doing this event since i signed up so turned up winning

00:17:11the reason i picked tyler by the way is i feel like whoever gets says you first the time advantage
00:17:16is probably going to win just because they're so evenly matched speed wise but i feel like tyler's
00:17:23better tactical thinking and intelligence i'll be good at that and you also need to be super fit spoke too

00:19:04the question is can they get the speed and the power to overtake cyclone
00:19:10she's faced with her final barrier now but so did that one naomi bounces off with a stagger
00:19:16this is so close they could all get through together cyclone's just gonna get through oh

00:19:29hesitation cost cyclone cyclone was taunting jesus on a crazy run though i think it was cyclone oh actually

00:58:37I completed all three series of the new series, and then the first three series of the OG series, and

00:58:48I think, now, I could be wrong, because to be fair, it's been a while since I've seen some of
00:58:55those finals, but that might be, out of the seven Gladiators series I completed, the most competitive final I've ever
00:59:03seen.
00:59:04Because, I mean, fuck, dude.
00:59:08Like, I mean, it's so rare you just get, not even a final, just, like, even a Heat or anything,
00:59:14where all four competitors are white-hot.
00:59:19Like, that in itself is hard enough to accomplish.
00:59:22Getting four people who are white-hot at the same time.
00:59:25But to do it in a final?

00:59:54Like, he and his stupid little bits, and him not knowing the rules, which is supposed to be his only

01:01:31Um, the Travelator was really Tyler's only weakness in this whole fucking show, I gotta
01:01:37be honest, because both times he went down, it was because of the Travelator.
01:01:43Um, Emily had one of the most impressive turnarounds I've ever seen, because, like, really early
01:01:48on, um, I, I was not impressed at all with, uh, Emily, but she just got better and better,
01:01:57and then had one of the greatest finals performances of all time, you know?
01:02:02Like, I mean, 40 fucking points, 40 points, and, and then just, uh, just absolutely killed
01:02:11it against Naomi, who was fantastic in herself.
01:02:14Um, so yeah, uh, overall, uh, great series for competitors, except for Heat 5, and a couple
01:02:24of those quarterfiles.
01:02:26Um, but, um, a, a, cursed series for Gladiators, unfortunately.
01:02:32So many injuries, so many injuries.
01:02:36Um, so hopefully things go better for that next series.
01:02:40Uh, I am very, very relieved they, they actually didn't do Powerball, though.
01:02:45I was so fucking nervous that they were gonna do Powerball in this final.
