Jake, um jovem cineasta que foi hospitalizado por overdose de drogas, se recupera e, junto com seus bons amigos Dave e Donald (dois irmãos), que também são cineastas, viajam para uma tribo nas montanhas para fazer um curta-metragem. Acompanhando-os estão as namoradas de Dave e Donald. Eles alugam uma casa e o proprietário os proíbe de entrar no quarto de sua falecida filha, Byens. Na noite em que se hospedam lá, eles pressentem que algo estranho está acontecendo na casa.
