00:00Pam is doing such a fantastic job, I thought maybe you could say a few words.
00:04Thank you, President.
00:06As far as the — we are hearing a lot about fraud, waste, and abuse.
00:09A lot of waste and abuse, but there is a tremendous amount of fraud.
00:13And Elon, thank you for your partnership.
00:15Thank you for your team.
00:16You have uncovered so much fraud in our government, and we will prosecute you.
00:21We have an internal task force now working with every agency sitting here at this table.
00:27And if you've committed fraud, we're coming after you.
00:30Thank you, Elon, for that.
00:31On the violent crime level, thanks to President Trump's directive, we are seeking the death penalty again.
00:37So all of these horrible, violent criminals that you're hearing about around the country,
00:41they will face the death penalty federally within our country.
00:44And the drug dealers need to get out of here because we are coming after you.
00:48We're going to have 94 great U.S. attorneys around this country, and everyone will be prosecuted
00:54to the fullest extent of the law.
00:57Thank you, President.
00:59It's your directive.
01:00I couldn't have said that better.
01:01That's very good.
01:03That's very good.
01:04You've done a fantastic job.
01:05Thanks, Pam.
01:06But — so let's see.
01:08Do you want to go to the Oval Office?
01:09Yes, sir.
01:10I thought they were going to say that.
01:12Thank you all very much.
01:14Great team.
01:14Great everything.
01:17Fantastic.
01:18Thank you very much.
02:28And let them do their jobs, and you let cops be cops.
02:32That's why all this is happening.
02:34The director, the deputy director, are working around the clock.
02:38All of these great men and women in the FBI, they have families at home, and they are working during
02:44a government shutdown right now.
02:46Many of them have small children.
02:48Many of them – I was talking to an agent this morning.
02:51Many of them have babies at home, and they are working around the clock to not only keep our country
02:57but our world safe.
02:59And that's what Operation Summer Heat did.
03:02Thank you, director, and to the deputy director for everything you did on behalf of the Department of Justice, and
03:08you're going to continue to keep doing.
03:10And they set the stage for what we're doing in Memphis.
03:14You're going to hear a lot more about that, our joint task force, next week.
03:17But they set the stage for Memphis.
03:20And last night alone in Memphis, there were almost 70 arrests.
03:24There were 12 guns seized.
03:26And there was a 70-year-old man arrested as a result of our operation in Memphis who raped a
03:32child under the age of three.
03:34That one case makes everything we're doing worthwhile.
03:37So thank you all for being here on behalf of both of us.
03:40Thank you, President Trump.
03:42Pam Bondi, please.
03:44Thank you, President Trump.
03:46You know, some people choose to tolerate crime, but you chose law and order.
03:51And that's why this task force worked.
03:54It was all of us, as Gaddy said, working hand-in-hand with my FBI, DEA, U.S. Marshals, ATF,
04:01with Cash, with Terry, with Rob, with Gaddy.
04:06Not only that, with Pete, with Department of War, with Homeland Security, with all of my agencies working hand-in
04:13-hand with the National Guard.
04:15When you went out there, when we came to Memphis, you could not tell who was with what agency because
04:20everyone was working so well together.
04:22Our U.S. Attorney, Mike Donovan, was out there.
04:26And not only does everyone need to know, we met with this president multiple times about this endeavor.
04:32The president knew what was going on here.
04:35The president cared.
04:36People like Alice Johnson sitting in the front row, who is a Memphis resident, she told us what a horrible
04:42crime problem there was.
04:44And I think the unsung hero in all of this is Stephen Miller.
04:47Stephen is the architect of making all of these plans work.
04:52Stephen, thank you.
04:56And just two very brief examples.
04:59There was a horrible murderer, Arsenio Davis, who last October committed a gruesome double homicide.
05:05He killed his mother and dismembered another person.
05:09And based on this task force working hand-in-hand, he's off the street.
05:13Another example, a horrible monster who's charged with raping a small child.
05:18This task force, all of these members working together arrested him.
05:22We can give you countless examples of that.
05:26770, over 770 gang members off the streets.
05:30And we know there's no normal day for a law enforcement officer.
05:33We know it's so dangerous what our law enforcement officers do.
05:37But know this.
05:38Donald Trump and this administration, we have your backs.
05:42Thank you all.
05:43And thank you, President Trump.
05:47Thank you, Pam.
05:48Thank you very much, everyone.
05:50And you have some pens here.
05:51Most importantly, right?
05:53Yeah.
05:53Oh, look at these white pens.
05:55I've never seen that before.
05:57I want one of them.
05:58I've never seen them.
05:59Here, Pamela, take that.
06:01Take that.
06:03Thank you very much, everybody.
06:05Thank you so much.
06:08Okay.
06:11Go ahead.
06:12Appreciate it.
06:13Mr. President, let me introduce you to Brandon, who lost his son, Gavin.
06:17Let me get up.
06:18Yes.
06:18He's a state legislator in South Carolina.
06:20He's been incredibly brave.
06:21And his whole family.
06:22Thank you so much.
06:25Thank you so much.
06:34And you've done a fantastic job as the head.
06:36And we're going to do what we have to do.
06:38And thank you very much.
06:39Thank you, everybody, very much.
06:40Appreciate it.
07:59Pam, no auto pens.
08:22Thank you very much.
