00:00This weekend on BN Sports, we have some super exciting matches, mostly in Ligue 1, but as well as the
00:06Turkish Super League.
00:07We have Angers vs. Lyon, Mets vs. Nantes, Le Havre vs. Auxerre, Lorient vs. Paris FC, and then the Turkish
00:15Super League, Fenerbahce vs. Besiktas,
00:18and then the heavyweight matchup that we have to discuss today, fellas, AS Monaco hosting Olympique Marseille.
00:25How are we feeling about it?
00:26Yeah, it's interesting coming back from an international break.
00:29Because there's a lot of World Cup implications, World Cup fever, national team fever that's kind of going on.
00:36So obviously, Balagan at Monaco, we're going to see what he does in this type of matchup.
00:42But then on the other side, we also have Tim Weah.
00:44It's true.
00:44Interestingly enough, I didn't realize he was playing in that right-back position for Marseille all this time.
00:49I feel like most of the highlights I've seen from him have been up the field.
00:53So seeing him for the first time play for the U.S. at right-back was also very interesting.
00:58So I'm curious just to kind of watch some of the U.S. players that are going to be in
01:02this matchup and see how they do coming back from an international break.
01:05Yeah. For me, I'm going with Monaco on this one.
01:09They had the big away win versus PSG.
01:12Balagan scores.
01:13They had a big win against Lyon.
01:15Balagan scores again, which brought them within one point of Lyon, who currently sits in fourth.
01:19And then two points ahead of them is third place Marseille.
01:21I think Monaco is really taking advantage of these big games and what they call six-pointers.
01:26Because they can go three this way or three this way.
01:27And I really see them as climbing all the way up to establishing themselves in a Champions League spot.
01:32So I'm going to keep trusting Balagan.
01:33I'm going to keep trusting Monaco.
01:34And I think they're going to get the win this time.
01:36It's hard not to win against Monaco.
01:38Marseille has had some good moments.
01:40You know, especially with players who have come and joined the team with Arsenal.
01:42Yep. Still in third.
01:43You know, so he can step up.
01:45But if things go as this season has gone, Monaco got in the bag.
01:49I'm going with Marseille.
01:50I think I don't see them missing out on Champions League this season.
01:53I think this is one of those games that really allows them to shut the door to a certain extent.
01:58So at least for Monaco, it would allow for Marseille to jump up six points clear for Monaco in this
02:04game.
02:04Which is Monaco is probably the last team in the table that can challenge for the Champions League spot.
02:08And I think Marseille this season has been so topsy-turvy.
02:11But the players have understood finally what it means to be playing Champions League football for Marseille.
02:15It's been a while since they've been there this season.
02:16They returned.
02:17And I think they recognize how much it means for that crowd, for those people.
02:23I think they're going to shut the door.
02:24They owe it to their fans.
02:25I think they'll do it.
02:26All right.
02:27Sounds good.
02:27Those are just our thoughts.
