00:09do it. But like Andy Cohen said, there was once a time when we couldn't tell the difference
00:13between Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow. So in the spirit of learning to put the new names to the new
00:18faces, we're here to help you decipher who the heck is who in the Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
00:23The first person we meet this season is Alicia, who we're calling the hostess with the mostest.
00:28Her husband's a foot doctor, but I think he's doing more than rubbing foots.
00:32You want some cheese?
00:33Alicia's fiance, Bill, owns multiple restaurants in Rhode Island, the home of Alicia's entire big
00:38Italian family. In the first moments of the episode, we get to meet Alicia's six aunts,
00:43who waste no time grilling her on her wedding plans. Alicia and Bill have been engaged ever
00:48since she was pregnant with their daughter, Selena, who was born nine years ago. Next,
00:52we get to meet Liz, the tried and true grand dame of Rhode Island.
00:56At some point, how do I not say you're DeLula? I'm scared.
01:01Boo. Liz lives like a queen on the water with her husband, Jerry, with whom she owns a cannabis
01:06dispensary. Jerry also has three daughters who were raised by Liz from the time they were little.
01:11And based on what we saw in her introduction, Liz is someone who can be walking her cat on a
01:16leash
01:16one minute and biting someone's head off the next. Oh, and she's also the reason Dolores gets brought
01:21into the mix, but we'll touch on that later. Moving on to Kelsey, who I truly think is going
01:25to be the breakout star of this show. I don't refer to myself as a sugar baby. My boyfriend is
01:31like actually attractive. The money is just a plus. Kelsey is a lady of leisure who lives in her much
01:36older boyfriend's 16,000 square foot home that has four kitchens and 79 TVs. Kelsey was 19 when she met
01:44her unnamed boyfriend who was from one of the most prominent families in Rhode Island. And while
01:49she does credit him with bringing good into her life, like encouraging her to become Miss Rhode
01:53Island, Kelsey seems to be at a bit of a crossroads. You see, when her boyfriend is in Miami the
01:59first
01:59half of the year, he's with his other girlfriend. Now that Kelsey is 30 and potentially seeing other
02:04people herself, she is ready for a more committed relationship. Next, we have Joellen, and she's a bit
02:09of a firecracker. Joellen, don't be playing dirty. Joellen, who works in aesthetic sales, met her
02:14husband in high school, and they have three young kids together. In her confessional, she
02:19shamelessly confesses to spreading gossip and being a bit scary. And after watching her
02:23confrontation with Rosie in the premiere, we start to understand why she said that. Based on that
02:28interaction alone and what Alicia said in her confessional, Joellen can switch up on a dime,
02:33and let's just say she knows how to hit where it hurts. We mentioned Rosie before, so let's get
02:38into her story. Rosie is a former TV reporter and news anchor for the number one station in Rhode
02:43Island and now hosts a lifestyle show that airs on Saturdays and Sundays. So it's not surprising at
02:49all that she's the investigator of the group. She's moving into an apartment and the old guy that she
02:55cheated on with the new guy is paying for it. But I'm the problem. Rosie's been married to her
03:00husband, Rich, for one year, and he has a plethora of jobs from flipping houses to DJing to singing,
03:06not impersonating Frank Sinatra. As one of the youngest people on the cast, it's not surprising
03:11that Rosie and Ashley are good friends. Ashley got her reality TV star on season 19 of The Bachelor
03:17before she and her husband Jared met on Bachelor in Paradise season two. I'm gonna cry again. I'm gonna
03:22cry again. This is not the kind of people that I'm usually around. Now married for six years,
03:27the couple owns a successful coffeehouse and lounge in Rhode Island, where Jared is originally from.
03:32She still gives new girl in town vibes compared to the other women in the group. Last but not least,
03:37we have Rola, who isn't introduced until the second episode. But when she is, it's clear that she's
03:42going to live up to her title as the boss bitch. I brought my tequila. Are you kidding? Come on,
03:46we got this. We're bush. I'm dead. Rola, who was born in the Rhode Island capital, runs a financial
03:51planning firm. She and her podiatrist husband Brian have two children and have been married for nine
03:56years together for 12. While her life seems picture perfect from the outside, Rola is going to have
04:02some explaining to do when it comes to rumors about her husband and her marriage. Bonus mentioned
04:06to the great Dolores Catania, who is appearing on The Real Housewives of Rhode Island as a friend
04:11of Liz this season. This is so we're friends. We're friends. Why do you see a similarity? We all know
04:18and love Dolores from The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Traders Season 3, so we are looking
