41:08my parents were both
41:09junior hockey coaches
41:12and they were hit
41:13by a drunk driver
41:14when i was 12 years old
41:17mercifully for them
41:18they died instantly
41:20mercifully for me
41:22the saint thomas scholarships
41:24existed
41:26i didn't have
41:28anybody else to help me
41:31i had a lot of memories
41:32a love of hockey
41:33and
41:34a huge hole in my heart
41:37saint thomas filled it
41:39with hope
41:40the hope
41:41of a new family
41:43things
41:44things weren't always easy
41:45you know
41:46they never are
41:46for anybody
41:47but
41:49in hockey
41:50i found what i was missing
41:52first at my high school
41:54then later at college
41:55and now here
41:56with the admirals
41:57and i never looked back
42:00because i never had to
42:04the family i craved
42:06the family that i needed
42:07that i still need today
42:11hockey gave it to me
42:13and saint thomas gave me hockey
42:17so from the bottom of my heart
