00:00Well, the Prime Minister needs to show an alternative.
00:03But, you know, I was listening to Donald Trump last night
00:06and I actually agreed with him on one thing.
00:08He's incapable, he's not smart enough to bring this to an end.
00:13And we've got to see an end to the fighting.
00:17He's shown that he can't, it's not smart enough to deal with the Straits of Hormuz challenge,
00:21which will remain according to the President.
00:24And that's where the Prime Minister needs to step up.
00:27We've heard some good first steps.
00:30But we're going to need an international coalition from Europe, from the G7,
00:34from the Gulf countries and others to do the diplomatic heavy lifting
00:38that the President is incapable of doing.
00:41And if we can get the Straits of Hormuz open, that will be the biggest benefit to British people,
00:48not just in petrol and diesel, but energy bills.
00:50So that should be the target.
00:52But I'm afraid Donald Trump himself has cut himself out.
00:56He's put the special relationship on life support.
00:59I regret that, but that's what Donald Trump has done.
