The Seeds — A Web of Sound 1966 (USA, Garage-Psychedelic Rock)
By the fall of 1966, when their second album, "Web of Sound," hit stores, Harvey Sharpe (bass) had joined the band. The album opened with the vibrant "Mr. Farmer," which became their next single, and included the hard rock 'n' rolls "Rollin' Machine" and "Tripmaker," as well as several softer, more floral numbers. The Seeds owed their turn to "flower power" to the foresight of their manager, Tim Hudson, whose efforts gradually catapulted the band to national popularity.
