10:00ces 4 unbelievable astronauts.
10:03As we speak this evening,
10:05il s'est juste un mois
10:07depuis que l'Unité des militaires
10:09ont commencé l'Operation Epic Fury,
10:13targeting le monde's number-on
10:15state sponsor de terror, Iran.
10:18Ces 4 semaines, nos armés ont délivré
10:22swift, decisive, overwhelming
10:25victories on the battlefield.
10:27Victories like few people
10:29have ever seen before.
10:31Tonight, Iran's navy is gone.
10:34Their air force is in ruins.
10:37Their leaders, most of them,
10:40terrorist regime they led, are now dead.
10:45Their command and control of the Islamic
10:48Revolutionary Guard Corps is being decimated
10:52as we speak.
10:53Their ability to launch missiles and drones
10:56is dramatically curtailed,
10:59and their weapons, factories,
11:01and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces.
11:03Very few of them left.
11:06Never in the history of warfare has an enemy
11:08suffered such clear and devastating
11:10large-scale losses.
11:12In a matter of weeks, our enemies are losing
11:16in America, as it has been for five years under my
11:20presidency, is winning, and now winning bigger
11:24than ever before.
11:25Before discussing this current situation,
11:29I also want to thank our troops for the
11:31masterful job they did in taking the country of
11:34Venezuela in a matter of minutes.
11:37That it was quick, lethal, violent, and
11:39respected by everyone all over the world.
11:42After rebuilding our military during my first
11:45term, we have by far the strongest military
11:48anywhere in the world, and now we're working
11:52along with Venezuela and our, in a true sense,
11:55joint venture partners.
11:56We're getting along incredibly well in the
11:59production and sale of massive amounts of
12:01oil and gas, the second-largest reserves on
12:05Earth after the United States of America.
12:09We're now totally independent of the Middle
12:13East, and yet we are there to help.
12:16We don't have to be there.
12:17We don't need their oil.
12:18We don't need anything they have, but we're
12:20there to help our allies.
12:23Tonight, I want to provide an update on the
12:25tremendous progress our warriors have made in
12:28Iran and discuss why Operation Epic Fury is
12:32necessary for the safety of America and the
12:34security of the free world.
12:36from the very first day I announced my campaign
12:41for President in 2015.
12:44I have vowed that I would never allow Iran to have
12:47a nuclear weapon.
12:49This fanatical regime has been chanting death to
12:53America, death to Israel, for 47 years.
12:58Their proxies were behind the murder of 241
13:02Americans in the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, the
13:06slaughter of hundreds of our service members with
13:09roadside bombs.
13:10They were involved in the attack on the USS call, and
13:15they carried out the countless other heinous acts,
13:18including the blood — just horrible, bloody
13:22atrocities of October 7th in Israel, something that
13:27most people have never seen anything like it.
13:30This murderous regime also recently killed 45,000 of
13:34their own people who were protesting in Iran.
13:3845,000 dead.
13:40For these terrorists to have nuclear weapons would be an
13:43intolerable threat.
13:46The most violent and thuggish regime on Earth would be
13:49free to carry out their campaigns of terror, coercion,
13:53conquest, and mass murder from behind a nuclear shield.
13:57I will never let that happen, and neither should any of our
14:02past presidents.
14:04This situation has been going on for 47 years and should
14:09have been handled long before I arrived in office.
14:13I did many things during my two terms in office to stop the
14:17quest for nuclear weapons by Iran first.
14:20And perhaps most importantly, I killed General Qasem Soleimani
14:27in my first term.
14:29He was an evil genius, a brilliant person, a horrible human
14:33being, however, the father of the roadside bomb.
14:37And he lived just horrible what he did.
14:40Iran would have been perhaps in far better, stronger position.
14:46He lived — we would have had probably a different
14:48conversation tonight, but you know what?
14:51We'd still be winning and winning big.
14:53And then, very importantly, I terminated Barack Hussein
14:56Obama's Iran nuclear deal, a disaster.
14:59Obama gave them $1.7 billion in cash.
15:04Green, green cash.
15:06Took it out of banks from Virginia, D.C., and Maryland.
15:10All the cash they had.
15:12Flew it by airplanes in an attempt to buy their respect and
15:16loyalty, but it didn't work.
15:18They laughed at our President and went on with their mission
15:21to have a nuclear bomb.
15:23His Iran deal would have led to a colossal arsenal of
15:27massive nuclear weapons for Iran.
15:29They would have had them years ago, and they would have used them.
15:33Would have been a different world.
15:35There would have been no Middle East and no Israel right now,
15:39in my opinion — the opinion of a lot of great experts.
15:41had I not terminated that terrible deal, and I was so honored to do it.
15:46I was so proud to do it.
15:47It was so bad right from the beginning.
15:49Essentially, I did what no other President was willing to do.
15:53They made mistakes, and I am correcting them.
15:57My first preference was always the path of diplomacy, yet the regime
16:03continued their relentless quest for nuclear weapons and rejected
16:07every attempt at an agreement.
16:09For this reason, in June, I ordered a strike on Iran's key
16:13nuclear facilities in Operation Midnight Hammer.
16:17Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
16:20Those beautiful B-2 bombers performed magnificently.
16:24We totally obliterated those nuclear sites.
16:28The regime then sought to rebuild their nuclear program at a
16:32totally different location, making clear they had no intention of
16:36abandoning their pursuit of nuclear weapons.
16:40They were also rapidly building a vast stockpile of conventional
16:44ballistic missiles and would soon have had missiles that could reach
16:48the American homeland, Europe, and virtually any other place on Earth.
16:53Iran's strategy was so obvious.
16:56They wanted to produce as many missiles as possible, and they did,
17:01with the longest range possible.
17:03And they had some weapons that nobody believed they had.
17:07We just learned that.
17:08We took them out.
17:09We took them all out so that no one would really dare stop them.
17:13And they raced for a nuclear bomb, a nuclear weapon, a nuclear weapon like
17:17nobody's ever seen before.
17:19They were right at the doorstep.
17:22For years, everyone has said that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons.
17:26But in the end, those are just words if you're not willing to take action when the time comes.
17:34As I stated in my announcement of Operation Epic Fury, our objectives are very simple and clear.
17:41We are systematically dismantling the regime's ability to threaten America or project power
17:47outside of their borders.
17:49That means eliminating Iran's navy, which is now absolutely destroyed, hurting their air force
17:58and their missile program at levels never seen before, and annihilating their defense industrial base.
18:04We've done all of it.
18:05Their navy is gone.
18:07Their air force is gone.
18:08Their missiles are just about used up or beaten.
18:11And taking together these actions will cripple Iran military, crush their ability to support terrorist proxies,
18:19and deny them the ability to build a nuclear bomb.
18:22Our armed forces have been extraordinary.
18:25There's never been anything like it militarily.
18:29Everyone is talking about it.
18:31And tonight, I'm pleased to say that these core strategic objectives are nearing completion.
18:37As we celebrate this progress, we think especially of the 13 American warriors who have laid down
18:44their lives in this fight to prevent our children from ever having to face a nuclear Iran.
18:52Twice this past month, I have traveled to Dover Air Force Base, and it's been something.
18:59I wanted to be with those heroes as they returned to American soil, and I was with them and their
19:04families, their parents, their wives, their husbands.
19:08We salute them, and now we must honor them by completing the mission for which they gave their
19:14lives, and every single one of the people, their loved ones said, please, sir, please finish
19:21the job.
19:22Every one of them.
19:23And we are going to finish the job, and we're going to finish it very fast.
19:27We're getting very close.
19:28I want to thank our allies in the Middle East, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait,
19:37and Bahrain.
19:38They've been great, and we will not let them get hurt or fail in any way, shape, or form.
19:45Many Americans have been concerned to see the recent rise in gasoline prices here at home.
19:51This short-term increase has been entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching deranged
19:58terror attacks against commercial oil tankers in neighboring countries that have nothing
20:03to do with the conflict.
20:05This is yet more proof that Iran can never be trusted with nuclear weapons.
20:10They will use them, and they will use them quickly.
20:12It would lead to decades of extortion, economic pain, and instability worse than we can ever
20:20imagine.
20:20The United States has never been better prepared economically to confront this threat.
20:26You all know that.
20:27We built the strongest economy in history.
20:30We're going through it right now, the strongest in history.
20:33In one year, we've taken a dead and crippled country — I hate to say that, but we were dead
20:41and crippled country after the last administration and made it the hottest country anywhere in the
20:48world, by far, with no inflation, record-setting investments coming into the United States, over
20:54$18 trillion, and the highest stock market ever, with 53 all-time record highs in just
21:01one year.
21:03It all positioned us to get rid of a cancer that has long simmered.
21:08It's known as the nuclear Iran.
21:10And they didn't know what was coming.
21:14They never imagined it.
21:16Remember, because of our Drill Baby Drill program, America has plenty of gas.
21:20We have so much gas.
21:22Under my leadership, we are number one producer of oil and gas on the planet without even discussing
21:28the millions of barrels that we're getting from Venezuela.
21:33Because of the Trump administration's policies, we produced more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia
21:38and Russia combined.
21:40Think of that — Saudi Arabia and Russia combined.
21:43And that number will soon be substantially higher than that.
21:47There's no country like us anywhere in the world, and we're in great shape for the future.
21:53The United States imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait and won't be taking any
22:00in the future.
22:01We don't need it.
22:02We haven't needed it, and we don't need it.
22:04And we've beaten and completely decimated Iran.
22:09They are decimated, both militarily and economically and every other way.
22:15And the countries of the world that do receive oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care
22:20of that passage.
22:22They must cherish it.
22:23They must grab it and cherish it.
22:26They can do it easily.
22:27We will be helpful.
22:29But they should take the lead in protecting the oil that they so desperately depend on.
22:34So to those countries that can't get fuel — many of which refuse to get involved in the decapitation
22:41of Iran — we had to do it ourselves — I have a suggestion.
22:45Number one, buy oil from the United States of America.
22:48We have plenty.
22:49We have so much.
22:50And number two, build up some delayed courage — should have done it before, should have done
22:55it with us, as we asked — go to the Strait and just take it, protect it, use it for
23:01yourselves.
23:02Iran has been essentially decimated.
23:06The hard part is done, so it should be easy.
23:09And in any event, when this conflict is over, the Strait will open up naturally.
23:14It'll just open up naturally.
23:16They're going to want to be able to sell oil because that's all they have to try and rebuild.
23:21It will resume the flowing, and the gas prices will rapidly come back down.
23:27Stock prices will rapidly go back up.
23:29They haven't come down very much, frankly.
23:31They came down a little bit, but they've had some very good days over the last couple
23:35of days.
23:36We've done, actually, much better than I thought.
23:39But we had to take that little journey to Iran to get rid of this horrible threat.
23:44With our historic tax cuts, where people are just now talking about receiving larger
23:49refunds than they ever thought possible.
23:52They are getting so much more money than they thought.
23:55That's from the great, big, beautiful bill.
23:57Our economy is strong and improving by the day, and it will soon be roaring back like never
24:03before.
24:03It will top the levels that it was a month ago.
24:06I've made clear from the beginning of Operation Epic Fury that we will continue until our objectives
24:12are fully achieved.
24:13And thanks to the progress we've made, I can say tonight that we are on track to complete
24:19all of America's military objectives shortly, very shortly.
24:24We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.
24:28We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.
24:33In the meantime, discussions are ongoing.
24:36Regime change was not our goal.
24:38We never said regime change, but regime change has occurred because of all of their original
24:46leaders' death.
24:47They're all dead.
24:49The new group is less radical and much more reasonable.
24:53Yet if during this period of time no deal is made, we have our eyes on key targets.
24:59If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and every one of their electric generating
25:04plants very hard and probably simultaneously.
25:07We have not hit their oil, even though that's the easiest target of all, because it would
25:13not give them even a small chance of survival or rebuilding.
25:18But we could hit it and it would be gone and there's not a thing they could do about it.
25:24They have no anti-aircraft equipment.
25:27Their radar is 100 percent annihilated.
25:30We are unstoppable as a military force.
25:34The nuclear sites that we obliterated with the B-2 bombers have been hit so hard that it
25:40would take months to get near the nuclear dust.
25:44And we have it under intense satellite surveillance and control.
25:48So if we see them make a move, even a move for it, we'll hit them with missiles very hard
25:55again.
25:56We have all the cards.
25:57They have none.
25:58It's very important that we keep this conflict in perspective.
26:03American involvement in World War I lasted one year, seven months, and five days.
26:10World War II lasted for three years, eight months, and 25 days.
26:15The Korean War lasted for three years, one month, and two days.
26:20The Vietnam War lasted for 19 years, five months, and 29 days.
26:27Iraq went on for eight years, eight months, and 28 days.
26:32We are in this military operation, so powerful, so brilliant, against one of the most powerful
26:38countries for 32 days.
26:41And the country has been eviscerated and essentially is really no longer a threat.
26:48They were the bully of the Middle East, but they're the bully no longer.
26:52This is a true investment in your children and your grandchildren's future.
26:57The whole world is watching, and they can't leave the power, strength, and brilliance.
27:03They just can't believe what they're seeing.
27:06They leave it to your imagination, but they can't believe what they're seeing, the brilliance
27:11of the United States military.
27:14Tonight, every American can look forward to a day when we are finally free from the wickedness
27:19of Iranian aggression and the specter of nuclear blackmail.
27:23Now, because of the actions we have taken, we are on the cusp of ending Iran's sinister
27:29threat to America and the world.
27:31And I'll tell you, the world is watching.
27:34And when we do, when it's all over, the United States will be safer, stronger, more prosperous,
27:41and greater than it has ever been before.
27:44May God bless the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
27:48And may God bless the United States of America.
27:52Thank you very much, and good night.
28:22God bless you.
28:23Thank you very much.
28:29I appreciate that we wish you were here.
