Donald Trump vowed to “crush” Iran within 2–3 weeks after deadly attacks on U.S. Marines, promising intensified strikes while also declaring major victories. He outlined final timelines for ending the war, claiming U.S. objectives are nearly achieved, though uncertainty remains over escalation and the conflict’s true endgame.

00:04Thank you very much.
00:07My fellow Americans, good evening.
00:09Let me begin by congratulating the team at
00:13NASA and our brave astronauts on the
00:16successful launch of Artemis II.
00:19It was quite something.
00:20It will be traveling further than any manned
00:23rocket has ever flown and will very
00:26substantially pass the moon, go around it,
00:29and come back home from a distance that has
00:32never been done before.
00:34It's amazing.
00:36They are on the way, and God bless them.
00:39These are brave people.
00:40We want to God bless those four
00:44unbelievable astronauts.
00:46As we speak this evening, it's been just one month
00:49since the United States military began
00:53Operation Epic Fury, targeting the world's
00:56number one state sponsor of terror, Iran.
01:01In these past four weeks, our armed forces have
01:04delivered swift, decisive, overwhelming
01:07victories on the battlefield.
01:10Victories like few people have ever seen before.
01:13Tonight, Iran's navy is gone.
01:16Their air force is in ruins.
01:18Their leaders, most of them terrorist regime they
01:25led, are now dead.
01:27Their command and control of the Islamic
01:30Revolutionary Guard Corps is being decimated as
01:35we speak.
01:36Their ability to launch missiles and drones is
01:39dramatically curtailed.
01:41And their weapons, factories, and rocket
01:43launchers are being blown to pieces.
01:45Very few of them left.
01:48Never in the history of warfare has an enemy
01:51suffered such clear and devastating large-scale
01:53losses in a matter of weeks.
01:56Our enemies are losing in America, as it has been
02:01for five years under my presidency, is winning
02:04and now winning bigger than ever before.
02:08Before discussing this current situation, I also
02:11want to thank our troops for the masterful job
02:14they did in taking the country of Venezuela in a
02:17matter of minutes.
02:19That it was quick, lethal, violent, and
02:21respected by everyone all over the world.
02:24After rebuilding our military during my first
02:27term, we have by far the strongest military
02:31anywhere in the world.
02:32And now we're working along with Venezuela and
02:36our, in a true sense, joint venture partners.
02:39We're getting along incredibly well in the
02:41production and sale of massive amounts of oil
02:44and gas, the second largest reserves on
02:48Earth after the United States of America.
02:51We're now totally independent of the
02:55Middle East, and yet we are there to help.
02:58We don't have to be there.
02:59We don't need their oil.
03:01We don't need anything they have, but we're
03:03there to help our allies.
03:05Tonight, I want to provide an update on the
03:08tremendous progress our warriors have made in
03:10Iran and discuss why Operation Epic Fury is
03:14necessary for the safety of America and the
03:17security of the free world.
03:20From the very first day I announced my campaign
03:23for President in 2015, I have vowed that I would
03:28never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon.
03:31This fanatical regime has been chanting death to
03:35America, death to Israel for 47 years.
03:40Their proxies were behind the murder of 241
03:45Americans in the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut,
03:48the slaughter of hundreds of our service members
03:51with roadside bombs.
03:52They were involved in the attack on the USS call,
03:57and they carried out the countless other heinous
04:00acts, including the blood, just horrible, bloody
04:04atrocities of October 7th in Israel.
04:08Something that most people have never seen
04:11anything like it.
04:12This murderous regime also recently killed 45,000
04:16of their own people who were protesting in Iran.
04:20Forty-five thousand dead.
04:22For these terrorists to have nuclear weapons would
04:25be an intolerable threat.
04:28The most violent and thuggish regime on Earth would
04:31be free to carry out their campaigns of terror,
04:34coercion, conquest, and mass murder from behind a
04:38nuclear shield.
04:39I will never let that happen, and neither should
04:43any of our past presidents.
04:46This situation has been going on for 47 years and
04:51should have been handled long before I arrived in
04:54office.
04:55I did many things during my two terms in office to stop
04:59the quest for nuclear weapons by Iran first.
05:03And perhaps most importantly, I killed General
05:06Qasem Soleimani in my first term.
05:11He was an evil genius, brilliant person, a horrible
05:15human being, however, the father of the roadside bomb.
05:19And he lived just horrible what he did.
05:23Iran would have been perhaps in far better, stronger position.
05:28Had he lived, we would have had probably a different
05:31conversation tonight.
05:32But you know what?
05:33We'd still be winning and winning big.
05:35And then, very importantly, I terminated Barack
05:38Hussein Obama's Iran nuclear deal, a disaster.
05:41Obama gave them $1.7 billion in cash.
05:46Green, green cash.
05:48Took it out of banks from Virginia, D.C. and Maryland.
05:52All the cash they had, flew it by airplanes in an
05:56attempt to buy their respect and loyalty.
05:59But it didn't work.
06:00They laughed at our president and went on with
06:02their mission to have a nuclear bomb.
06:05His Iran deal would have led to a colossal arsenal of
06:09massive nuclear weapons for Iran.
06:11And they would have had them years ago.
06:14And they would have used them.
06:15Would have been a different world.
06:17There would have been no Middle East and no Israel
06:20right now, in my opinion, the opinion of a lot of
06:23great experts.
06:24Had I not terminated that terrible deal, I was so
06:27honored to do it.
06:28I was so proud to do it.
06:29It was so bad right from the beginning.
06:32Essentially, I did what no other president was
06:34willing to do.
06:36They made mistakes, and I am correcting them.
06:40My first preference was always the path of
06:43diplomacy, yet the regime continued their
06:46relentless quest for nuclear weapons and
06:48rejected every attempt at an agreement.
06:52For this reason, in June, I ordered a strike on
06:55Iran's key nuclear facilities in Operation
06:58Midnight Hammer.
06:59Nobody has ever seen anything like it.
07:02Those beautiful B-2 bombers performed
07:05magnificently.
07:07We totally obliterated those nuclear sites.
07:10The regime then sought to rebuild their nuclear
07:13program at a totally different location, making
07:16clear they had no intention of abandoning their
07:19pursuit of nuclear weapons.
07:22They were also rapidly building a vast stockpile of
07:25conventional ballistic missiles and would soon
07:29have had missiles that could reach the American
07:31homeland, Europe, and virtually any other place on
07:34Earth.
07:35Iran's strategy was so obvious.
07:38They wanted to produce as many missiles as possible,
07:42and they did, with the longest range possible.
07:46And they had some weapons that nobody believed they had.
07:49We just learned that out.
07:50We took them out.
07:51We took them all out so that no one would really
07:54dare stop them.
07:55And they raced for a nuclear bomb, a nuclear weapon, a
07:59nuclear weapon like nobody's ever seen before.
08:01They were right at the doorstep.
08:04For years, everyone has said that Iran cannot have
08:07nuclear weapons.
08:08But in the end, those are just words if you're not
08:12willing to take action when the time comes.
08:16As I stated in my announcement of Operation Epic
08:19Fury, our objectives are very simple and clear.
08:24We are systematically dismantling the regime's
08:26ability to threaten America or project power outside
08:30of their borders.
08:31That means eliminating Iran's navy, which is now
08:35absolutely destroyed, hurting their air force and
08:40their missile program at levels never seen before, and
08:44annihilating their defense industrial base.
08:47We've done all of it.
08:48Their navy is gone.
08:49Their air force is gone.
08:50Their missiles are just about used up or beaten.
08:54Taken together, these actions will cripple Iran
08:57military, crush their ability to support terrorist
09:00proxies, and deny them the ability to build a
09:03nuclear bomb.
09:05Our armed forces have been extraordinary.
09:07There's never been anything like it militarily.
09:11Everyone is talking about it.
09:13And tonight, I'm pleased to say that these core
09:16strategic objectives are nearing completion.
09:20As we celebrate this progress, we think especially
09:23of the 13 American warriors who have laid down their
09:27lives in this fight to prevent our children from ever
09:31having to face a nuclear Iran.
09:34Twice this past month, I have traveled to Dover Air
09:37Force Base, and it's been something.
09:41I wanted to be with those heroes as the return to
09:44American soil, and I was with them and their
09:47families, their parents, their wives, their husbands.
09:50We salute them, and now we must honor them by
09:53completing the mission for which they gave their
09:57lives, and every single one of the people, their loved
10:00ones said, please, sir, please finish the job.
10:04Every one of them.
10:05And we are going to finish the job, and we're going
10:08to finish it very fast.
10:09We're getting very close.
10:10I want to thank our allies in the Middle East, Israel,
10:14Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
10:20They've been great, and we will not let them get hurt or
10:25fail in any way, shape, or form.
10:27Many Americans have been concerned to see the recent
10:31rise in gasoline prices here at home.
10:34This short-term increase has been entirely the result
10:37of the Iranian regime launching deranged terror
10:40attacks against commercial oil tankers in neighboring
10:43countries that have nothing to do with the conflict.
10:47This is yet more proof that Iran can never be trusted
10:51with nuclear weapons.
10:52They will use them, and they will use them quickly.
10:55It would lead to decades of extortion, economic pain, and
10:59instability worse than we can ever imagine.
11:03The United States has never been better prepared
11:06economically to confront this threat.
11:08You all know that.
11:09We built the strongest economy in history.
11:12We're going through it right now.
11:14The strongest in history.
11:15In one year, we've taken a dead and crippled country.
11:20I hate to say that, but we were a dead and crippled country
11:24after the last administration, and made it the hottest country
11:30anywhere in the world, by far, with no inflation, record-setting
11:34investments coming into the United States, over $18 trillion, and the
11:39highest stock market ever, with 53 all-time record highs in just one year.
11:45It all positioned us to get rid of a cancer that has long simmered.
11:50It's known as the nuclear Iran.
11:53And they didn't know what was coming.
11:56They've never imagined it.
11:58Remember, because of our Drill Baby Drill program, America has plenty of gas.
12:02We have so much gas.
12:04Under my leadership, we are number one producer of oil and gas on the planet, without even discussing
12:10the millions of barrels that we're getting from Venezuela.
12:15Because of the Trump administration's policies, we produce more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia
12:20and Russia combined.
12:22Think of that.
12:23Saudi Arabia and Russia combined.
12:25And that number will soon be substantially higher than that.
12:30There's no country like us anywhere in the world, and we're in great shape for the future.
12:35The United States imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait and won't be taking any in
12:43the future.
12:43We don't need it.
12:44We haven't needed it, and we don't need it.
12:47We've beaten and completely decimated Iran.
12:52They are decimated, both militarily and economically and every other way.
12:57And the countries of the world that do receive oil through the Hormuz Strait must take care of
13:03that passage.
13:04They must cherish it.
13:05They must grab it and cherish it.
13:08They can do it easily.
13:09We will be helpful, but they should take the lead in protecting the oil that they so desperately
13:15depend on.
13:16So to those countries that can't get fuel, many of which refuse to get involved in the decapitation
13:23of Iran, we had to do it ourselves.
13:26I have a suggestion.
13:27Number one, buy oil from the United States of America.
13:30We have plenty.
13:31We have so much.
13:32And number two, build up some delayed courage.
13:35Should have done it before.
13:37Should have done it with us, as we asked.
13:39Go to the Strait and just take it, protect it.
13:43Use it for yourselves.
13:44Iran has been essentially decimated.
13:48The hard part is done, so it should be easy.
13:51And in any event, when this conflict is over, the Strait will open up naturally.
13:56It will just open up naturally.
13:58They're going to want to be able to sell oil because that's all they have to try and rebuild.
14:03It will resume the flowing and the gas prices will rapidly come back down.
14:09Stock prices will rapidly go back up.
14:11They haven't come down very much.
14:13Frankly, they came down a little bit, but they've had some very good days over the last couple
14:17of days, we've done actually much better than I thought.
14:21But we had to take that little journey to Iran to get rid of this horrible threat.
14:26With our historic tax cuts, where people are just now talking about receiving larger refunds
14:32than they ever thought possible, they are getting so much more money than they thought.
14:37But that's from the great, big, beautiful bill.
14:39Our economy is strong and improving by the day, and it will soon be roaring back like
14:44never before.
14:45It will top the levels that it was a month ago.
14:48I've made clear from the beginning of Operation Epic Fury that we will continue until our objectives
14:54are fully achieved.
14:56Thanks to the progress we've made, I can say tonight that we are on track to complete
15:01all of America's military objectives shortly, very shortly.
15:06We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks.
15:11We're going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.
15:15In the meantime, discussions are ongoing.
15:18Regime change was not our goal.
15:21We never said regime change, but regime change has occurred because of all of their original leaders'
15:29death.
15:29They're all dead.
15:31The new group is less radical and much more reasonable.
15:35Yet if during this period of time no deal is made, we have our eyes on key targets.
15:41If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and every one of their electric generating
15:46plants very hard and probably simultaneously.
15:50We have not hit their oil, even though that's the easiest target of all, because it would not
15:56give them even a small chance of survival or rebuilding.
16:00But we could hit it and it would be gone.
16:04And there's not a thing they could do about it.
16:06They have no anti-aircraft equipment.
16:09Their radar is 100 percent annihilated.
16:12We are unstoppable as a military force.
16:16The nuclear sites that we obliterated with the B-2 bombers have been hit so hard that it
16:22would take months to get near the nuclear dust.
16:26And we have it under intense satellite surveillance and control.
16:30If we see them make a move, even a move for it, we'll hit them with missiles very hard again.
16:38We have all the cards.
16:39They have none.
16:40It's very important that we keep this conflict in perspective.
16:44American involvement in World War I lasted one year, seven months, and five days.
16:52World War II lasted for three years, eight months, and 25 days.
16:58The Korean War lasted for three years, one month, and two days.
17:03The Vietnam War lasted for 19 years, five months, and 29 days.
17:09Iraq went on for eight years, eight months, and 28 days.
17:14We are in this military operation, so powerful, so brilliant, against one of the most powerful
17:20countries for 32 days.
17:24And the country has been eviscerated and essentially is really no longer a threat.
17:30They were the bully of the Middle East, but they're the bully no longer.
17:34This is a true investment in your children and your grandchildren's future.
17:39The whole world is watching, and they can't leave the power, strength, and brilliance.
17:46They just can't believe what they're seeing.
17:48They leave it to your imagination, but they can't believe what they're seeing, the brilliance
17:53of the United States military.
17:56Tonight, every American can look forward to a day when we are finally free from the wickedness
18:02of Iranian aggression and the specter of nuclear blackmail.
18:06Because of the actions we have taken, we are on the cusp of ending Iran's sinister threat
18:11to America and the world.
18:13And I'll tell you, the world is watching.
18:16And when we do, when it's all over, the United States will be safer, stronger, more prosperous,
18:23and greater than it has ever been before.
18:26May God bless the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.
18:31And may God bless the United States of America.
18:34Thank you very much, and good night.
