00:00Here's a story that I never quite could get behind or understand.
00:03There's a basketball player who's 7'9".
00:06He's insignificant on his team.
00:09And quite frankly, I don't know if he goes Division I, II, or III at this point
00:12and will be significant.
00:14Joe, how can you be 7'9"?
00:16He can walk, looks like he could chew gum,
00:18and not be able to get on the court in college basketball.
00:22Shouldn't he be maybe, I don't know, the most dominant shot blocker in the history?
00:25I watched Manute Boll be a really good player at times in the NBA.
00:29Why can't this kid?
00:31Well, because, Donnie, he signed with Florida,
00:34and he wasn't sniffing the court with Florida.
00:37But he did get on the court a couple of times this year,
00:40and it was hysterical.
00:42Listen, 7'9", he's not exactly the most athletic dude.
00:46And especially when he's standing up next to a bunch of other, you know,
00:52seven-footers, let's say, even 6'9", 6'10", guys
00:55that are flying past him up and down the court.
00:58Yeah, you know, but he's got to play.
01:01He's never going to play at a school like Florida,
01:03so I get why he's transferring.
01:05But, you know, he's got to go get some reps.
01:07And, you know, listen, even Chet Holmgren was pretty good at Gonzaga,
01:12except guys were afraid he'd break a bone every time they ran into him.
01:16Let's go.
01:16Let's go.
