Wraith Ops Official Airfield Trailer
Transcript
00:14Wraithops is all about returning to the very roots of first-person shooters without any
00:19additional fluff. We're not trying to reinvent the wheel but go back to what made the OG games
00:24fun. A focus on gunplay, maps, and community. And you can see this in every facet of the game.
00:31Simplicity is everywhere. You can play the Wraithops demo right now in Steam Next Fest.
00:37And today we're going to talk about some of the changes to one of the maps you'll be fighting on.
00:41Airfield has come a long way since some of you first played it during our public playtest last
00:46August. And since then we've been iterating heavily. So why the changes? The original
00:52airfield had a number of layout issues that affected pacing and balance. Some objectives
00:57were placed too close to spawn points which skewed fights and heavily favoured defending teams.
01:03Other areas like the hangar and nearby rooftops created dominant positions that encouraged
01:09spawn camping which limited meaningful counterplay. The new airfield is a complete rework. Objectives
01:15have been reorganised, spaces restructured, and new combat lines introduced. The map is now more
01:22clearly divided into distinct areas, giving players more ways to move, flank, and approach
01:28engagements. These changes are designed to improve flow and create more consistent, readable
01:34fights across the map. Jump into the Wraithops demo right now, test airfield for yourself alongside
01:39two other maps. Wraithops started as a passion project and that hasn't changed.
