00:00Hey we're at CES 2026 and this is a device from Skywheel. There's both the
00:07Peak and the Peak S. Now what this is is skiing anywhere. That sounds crazy right?
00:14But skiing on the beach, skiing in the forest, skiing up hills without snow
00:19because the French company wanted to give people that feeling in the off
00:22season then they realized hey people can do this anywhere. So now they've got a
00:26couple of devices. One's about $14.90 and the other one is how much today? $999?
00:32So there's two different models, two different speeds. One goes 14 miles per
00:36hour. One goes 20 miles per hour. One has about 37 miles range and the other one is
00:42a little bit less. So obviously you're going to choose based on what you really
00:46want out of it. But the real cool thing is you can strap these things on and feel
00:52like you're skiing anywhere. I mean look this is just the beginning of the wild
00:56stuff that we are seeing at CES 2026. For more cool devices stick with
01:01techradar.com. In the meantime I'm going to take these for a test run.
01:05All right what's your name again? Joseph? Joseph. Joseph is with Skywheel. He's setting
01:09these up for me. By the way these are shipping in April. So keep an eye out for
01:13that. But I'm getting ready to try them out. So now they stay cooked together like
01:17this or they come apart? What's the deal? Come apart just to be easy to put in. Okay.
01:21So what do I do? I stand on it? Oh yeah I see I've got to get the... Okay.
01:31You can put the first one. Yep. Perfect. You can put the other one. All right. All right. Let me
01:38just get my...
01:39You can lock it. It's like a real skiing. Oh okay. Yeah. All right. You can try just to lean
01:49your body on the right or on the left to see that there is the system here.
01:54Oh I see. Okay. Okay. This is why we recreate the carving sensation. Right. A little bit like skating almost.
02:03All right. So what have... So that's the control. Exactly. That's the controller. Okay. So you can see that here
02:08you have a brake.
02:09Okay. Yeah. Yeah. We want very slow speed here. Very slow speed here. Yep. Okay. You take the handle. Don't
02:14forget we always like that.
02:16Yeah. Always like that. Your butt a little bit inside. You know. Okay. Like that. You know Michael Jackson? Maybe
02:22like that.
02:24Oh. Oh. Okay. Okay. So don't worry. Very slowly. Perfect.
02:30And after it's like a bike. So. Yeah. So. If you want to turn very with the highs, you're going
02:36to put your knee and try to up. Okay. And lean your body.
02:40Okay. So. Yeah. It's... It... I mean... I can see the power. I can feel the power of these things.
03:02And I kind of want to be able to... I mean the other thing is you want your body a
03:07little bit...
03:16The thing I'm not doing very well is turning. It's like I can't seem to...
03:22Because I'm not really putting enough... Yeah. Exactly. Because you really can do that. Like that.
03:26Right. You see it? Perfect. And with the highs. Right. Right. Right.
03:31Right. All right. Good. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
03:43Right. Avenue. Everything. Dude. Like mom's skin.
