00:37impression at featherweight and this would be something, he was a very good super phantomweight
00:43in the white and red shorts and Grandelli's been around and this is the third time he's fought for
00:52a European title, so he'll be hoping it's the lucky one.
00:56How big is Davis moving up? This division is really, really good, well scored, isn't he?
01:02Got a lovely jab, moves his feet well, quite a good tempo as well, fired up for this one,
01:09yeah, the opportunity to be a two-weight European champion, Grandelli, as I say, he's a bag of
01:16tricks, tricks when he wants to be, he can move forward, those awkward shots like that from
01:20time to time. He's got a stale, it'll probably take Liam Davis a little bit of getting used to,
01:26but what I will say about Davis is, I feel like that's where it's going to suit him,
01:30I have absolutely no idea how he made the eighth-ton pound limit.
01:36A little bit of red and under there, the right eye of Davis.
01:41Grandelli pegged back, he doesn't mind this though, he'll move from side to side, happy to do so,
01:47every now and again he'll jump into life and try and push back the opponent, but
01:51Davis using the feet really, really well at the minute.
01:54Lovely jab and good hands early from Liam Davis, who has five wins inside the opening two sessions,
02:03and Francesco Grandelli, normally pretty durable and tough, was stopped in a round by Mauro Forte,
02:11after they fought to a draw, so potentially can be caught early, but if he gets into this,
02:18could make it very, very difficult, as he showed against Nathaniel Collins, second half of that one,
02:25but Liam Davis has started very sharply, and I'm not sure Grandelli can deal with his hand speed coming up
02:32from Superfantas.
02:33What the weight of shots from Davis.
02:37Body shot as well, he looks really accurate tonight already, right hand back from Grandelli,
02:44who's got six knockouts himself, this is another one, Karl, that started at a right old tempo.

03:47so if you can get the timing just with your feet and whip it up, he'll be there,
03:51he'll keep the jab first, you know what I mean, and then look for the body wide open down there,
03:58you can just turn this working on, but do it off the jab, everything off the jab,
04:02don't just stay there, you know what I mean.

05:23Davies is doing well to cut off the ring, actually,
05:25because Grandelli's moving a lot,
05:28wasting a lot of energy so far, but just trying to get out of the road of Davies,
05:32which isn't quite working out for him so far,
05:34that was a good left hook from him.
05:37They're trying to really whip in these hooks.
05:40Some just hitting the air inside the co-op,
05:44but he will keep believing, Grandelli,
05:47that this could finally be his night a long way from home.
05:54Davies composed and sent to ring.
05:58Grandelli trying to upset him and gain that edge in speed.

06:04And as Kyle said, the footwork, although it's very subtle,
06:07it's very effective from Davies, really making Grandelli move an awful lot,
06:11hitting him into the corner, onto the ropes,
06:15and you can see he's frantically trying to stay away from Grandelli.

06:22The long arm, he used it really well,
06:24throws it well from a distance,
06:26doesn't allow Grandelli to get too close.

06:32Down at 8.10, if you can't fight, he really can.
06:35That one defeat to Shabazz Massoud,
06:37and we've seen how well Massoud's gone on from that,
06:40that picture over Peter McGrail in Monaco.
06:43But Liam Davies, I think he feels revitalized at featherweight,

21:30but Grandelli's digging in and he's a proud man and he wants to keep hold of these titles,

21:46And now he's shaking out his right hand as well, Grandelli, but he's still fighting.

22:17Because he's been so one-sided and he's been hurt a lot and the eyes are welded up.

22:28Well, there's huge pride and he's really trying very, very hard deep into the sixth round,
22:33but there's a long way to go. These body shots sinking in. It's been the quality and he looks at
22:38his corner, Karl.
22:39Maybe you're right. He just looks down at them. Is this a last hurrah from Francesco Grandelli?
22:47Yes. Yeah, body language isn't great, but then all of a sudden he'll let the barrel of the shots go.

25:29but I don't think he was ever going to win this fight but a fantastic performance from Liam Davis.
