00:07In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Joseph Duggar's aunt, Deanna Duggar, is urging his wife Kendra to leave him

00:15The way I feel about it is I think Kendra should divorce him, Deanna said.
00:20She needs a new life. The best thing to do would be to divorce him and go on with her
00:24life.
00:24Deanna added that while her heart goes out to Kendra, she believes there have been wrong decisions and emphasized her
00:30concern for the alleged victims.
00:32My prayers are for the victims, for Kendra, for Joseph, for the whole family. Wake up and repent for their
00:38pride. Get things right in their family, she said.
00:41She also described being in shock over the allegations against her nephew.
00:45I went into shock. I couldn't believe it was Joseph. This is so horrible to hear this again in the
00:50family, she said, adding, how can this happen again?
00:54Deanna continued in one extended statement saying,
00:57That sweet, innocent girl who didn't deserve this at all. It's awful and horrendous.

01:11Joseph was arrested on March 18th and accused of molesting a nine-year-old girl during a 2020 family vacation
01:17in Florida.
01:18He has been charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving a minor under 12, and authorities say he is being
01:24extradited to Florida to face those charges.
01:27According to an affidavit obtained by Page Six, the alleged victim said multiple incidents occurred, including claims that Joseph touched
01:34her thighs and that his hand grazed her vagina.
01:37Kendra Duggar, who shares four children with Joseph, was also arrested on March 20th in Arkansas.
01:42She faces four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of false imprisonment.
01:49Joseph faces the same Arkansas charges in addition to the Florida case.
01:54In a separate development, a jail call obtained by People reveals Kendra has hired her own attorney and made it
02:00clear it's just for her.
02:12Kendra explained she was told she needed legal representation for the case we've got going with the kids and stuff,
02:19indicating she and Joseph will not share counsel as they head to court.
02:23The couple is scheduled to appear for a hearing in Arkansas on April 29th.
02:27Meanwhile, Joseph has had limited contact while behind bars.
02:31According to records obtained by Page Six, his attorney is the only person who has visited him in jail, and
02:37he has only called two people, including Kendra.
