00:00Come with me to Abergavenny on the day that Greg James, Radio One Royalty, rolled into
00:04town.
00:05He's going to cycle right the way up here as the crowd goes wild for a fantastic course
00:10we'll talk more about later and he'll finish up at the town hall behind me.
00:14Fingers crossed we may be able to grab a few words with him as he arrives into Abergavenny.
00:19And he didn't just roll with it, he rolled right into town to a wonderful warm Welsh
00:23reception here on a sunny afternoon in Abergavenny.
00:26He didn't realise at the time that he'd just completed part of last year's tour of
00:30Britain route, which really is steeped in history.
00:33And having started in Weymouth, he still got to go all the way to Edinburgh.
00:37Yeah, on a bike.
00:39And while he was greeting the waiting crowd in town, I randomly bumped into my mate Giles
00:44and we finally managed to grab an interview with him together.
00:46It was surreal.
00:49It was really after a long day of quite lonely cycling to have a street lined with people
00:55just chanting and shouting and waving and signposts and whatever.
01:00And dogs.
01:00Old dogs.
01:01Like kids coming out and saying hello.
01:04It's really, it's very special.
01:07There's sorts of those things that I'll just never ever forget even when I'm old and irrelevant.
01:13Head to our website to see the full interview and relive the day Greg James rolled into Abergavenny for comic
01:18relief.
01:19Okay, please.
