00:00Look, I need to say this, that we, or me personally, my first thoughts are obviously with the alleged victim
00:08here, without question.
00:10But also, Scott Mills is a human.
00:13He's a person who got his dream job.
00:15That has now been taken away from him.
00:17And his validation largely in life probably was defined by that job.
00:21Therefore, we have to be very careful.
00:22There's a current feeding frenzy going on.
00:25A lot of that is driven by people who just hate the BBC.
00:27So they'll use that as a stick to beat the BBC with.
00:30But there is a human being.
00:31Well, there's two human beings at the centre of this.
00:33And we all know what happened to Caroline Flack and how the public rounded, the press rounded on her.
00:42And we have to be very careful about this, not just, of course, for the victim, but for Scott as
00:47well.
00:47Absolutely.
00:48I mean, you're talking about somebody that got their first job in commercial radio at 16.
00:53It's been an entire life.
00:55And who, as much as we understand it, the mirror leading the reporting on this, has not returned any contact
01:05from anybody who's tried to contact him.
01:08So, you know, I think it's a really important point, referencing Caroline Flack.
01:13I think it's a really important point.
