17:01but in the maldives passengers on a ferry struggle to put on life jackets

20:00safe on the rescue boats the passengers watch as their boat sinks below the surface
20:15no casualties or serious injuries are reported
20:22and according to news reports police open an investigation into the incident
20:29while the findings are still unknown a manager from the boat company tells a reporter that the accident
20:35was caused by debris from an earlier storm he maintains that why they deeply regret this happened and are sorry
