00:11Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we're counting down our picks for the 10 hardest
00:15bosses to face off against in classic Disney games.
00:27Before we begin, we publish new content all week long, so be sure to subscribe and ring
00:31the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:37Hades, Hercules I think Hades has had one too many cups of coffee
00:41because he just doesn't stop moving around the vortex of Sol's boss arena.
00:45Serving as the final battle in Hercules, Hades does put up quite the fight.
00:50He has multiple projectile attacks and can zip from one end of the large play area to
00:55the other with barely any time for Hercules to keep up.
00:58Your goal here is to land hits with your sword once he slows down for a brief moment.
01:03It's a frenetic fight that will test your sword swinging skills and Herculean acrobatics,
01:07all while souls float around the arena.
01:18Darkwing Duck Steelbeak's grudge against the terror that flaps
01:22in the night comes to a head during this final showdown.
01:25A relentless battle that can be wrapped up super quickly only, of course, if you are an
01:29expert with Darkwing Duck, Steelbeak is honestly no pushover.
01:39The small boss room that gives Darkwing only a few grapple modes in tandem with Steelbeak's
01:44near constant barrage of flying robots makes this fight one where you simply can't look
01:49away from the screen for even a second.
01:51Once Steelbeak drops down, it's imperative that you stay nimble and attack when the time
01:56is right.
02:00King Louie the Jungle Book
02:10Some Jungle Book players might think the final boss battle against Shere Khan is harder,
02:15but for our money at least, the banana-flinging fight against King Louie truly ups the ante
02:19here in terms of the overall difficulty.
02:22Fortunately, the fight is at least fair since Mowgli, apart from having some rock and dance
02:26moves, is able to fling Nanner's right back at the orange orangutan.
02:30But trying to dodge his coconut bowling balls, lanky movements, and slippery banana projectiles
02:36is no easy feat here.
02:37Especially since you barely have much room to even move around the arena.
02:41This boss battle often feels more like a bullet hell rather than a platformer.
02:45Good luck.
02:46Demona Gargoyles
02:55One word can easily be used to sum up this boss battle, grueling.
03:00Despite Goliath's hulking size, powerful attacks, and nimble movements, his abilities
03:05are going to be tested by the evils of Demona, who just so happens to be supercharged by Odin.
03:10These nefarious beings working in concert with one another means you, the player, are going
03:15to have a brutal time fighting against their threats.
03:18Goliath will have to contend with vertical platforming, some ferocious attacks from the
03:22shapeshifter, and a final showdown where Demona soars around the upper part of the arena seeking
03:27to destroy Goliath.
03:29Stay agile and stay on the offensive, and you should, hopefully, come out as the victor
03:33here.
03:40Ms. Rebelle, Castle of Illusion, starring Mickey Mouse.
03:50Poor Minnie Mouse, trapped by Ms. Rebelle's vile magic, it's now up to Mickey to save
03:55the day.
03:56But my goodness, Ms. Rebelle is one heck of a solid baddie.
03:59Her spectral volleys can take up almost the entire screen, giving Mickey little room to
04:04dodge.
04:05Then, her teleportation powers allow her to zip to new locations at will.
04:09It's imperative that Mickey finds an opening in order to jump on her head, because only
04:13by doing that multiple times does the opportunity arise for Mickey to steal away her powers for
04:19good at the end of the battle.
04:20Ms. Rebelle, more like Miserable.
04:30Emperor Zurg, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
04:33To infinity and beyond!
04:35Welp, so long as you can defeat the evil Emperor Zurg during the final showdown in Buzz Lightyear
04:40of Star Command.
04:41This surprisingly lengthy boss battle isn't for the faint of heart.
04:45Good thing Buzz is here to save the day.
04:47Split into two phases, phase one sees Buzz battling hordes of Zurg's mischievous minions
04:52over and over and yes, over again, while getting a few well-timed shots on the big baddie himself
04:58in the center of the arena.
05:05It's a grueling phase that honestly never feels like it lets up.
05:08Fortunately, there are plentiful health and ammo pickups for Buzz.
05:11Now, phase two shifts into a one-on-one battle against Zurg.
05:15He zooms around the circular throne room, blasting away a Buzz with nary a break in sight.
05:20Toss in some electrical currents that circle the arena, and some relentless projectiles
05:25from Zurg's weapons, and it's clear this boss fight is truly out of this world when
05:29it comes to sheer challenge level.
05:40SCAR, THE LION KING
05:48Yes, we all know by now how gosh darn hard THE LION KING is altogether.
05:53I mean, it was purposefully designed to be uber difficult, so families that rented the game
05:57back in the 90s couldn't easily beat it during that short rental period.
06:01Well, it should probably come as no surprise then that the showdown against SCAR is also
06:06truly punishing.
06:07Not content with just being a simple small arena boss battle like many other games of
06:12the time, the fight against SCAR sees Simba scour around the flame-engulfed Pride Rock,
06:17fending off hyenas, platforming his way up the eponymous rock, and battling SCAR every
06:22chance he gets along the way.
06:23This is a downright brutal section of the game that takes loads of patience and perseverance
06:28to get through.
06:29But when you do finally throw SCAR off of Pride Rock, the sense of relief and the sense
06:34of achievement is second to none.
06:36Simply put, this ain't no Hakuna Matata battle.
06:47The final showdown with Pete, Mickey Mania, The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse.
06:51As if the level leading up to the final fight against Pete wasn't enough, right?
06:55Well, you are in for a doozy of a time as you take on this sword-wielding, musketeer-inspired
07:00form of Pete.
07:01We actually have ourselves another two-phase showdown here.
07:04In true Disney cartoony fashion, taking Pete out mostly comes down to some hijinks by Mickey.
07:10Getting Pete to slam his bum on some spikes is the goal in phase one.
07:19Phase two is all about smacking Pete in the face with a medieval wrecking ball.
07:23Sounds easy enough, right?
07:25Well, it's not.
07:26Avoiding the falling spiked balls and the swords flung at Mickey is tough, since there's
07:30little room for error and movement.
07:32Memorizing Pete's dual-phased attack patterns is absolutely key here.
07:36And, on a side note, that snow falling outside the window is a nice ambient touch, almost
07:41making the boss battle feel cozy, almost.
07:55Oogie Boogie, all three phases, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Pumpkin King.
08:07This often overlooked GBA Metroidvania, yes, that's right, A Nightmare Before Christmas
08:13Metroidvania, is incredibly fun to play, and is loaded with charm and personality as you
08:18play as the titular Pumpkin King.
08:20But, and maybe this is no surprise to anyone, the ultimate battle against Oogie Boogie is
08:25super duper challenging, mostly because it's split into three tough phases.
08:29Yep, Jack Skellington definitely has his work cut out for him here.
08:32The King of Bugs has plenty of tricks up his sleeve here.
08:35Part one is all about defeating one of Oogie's insectoid machinations.
08:39Part two is honestly super hard to describe, I mean, you are seeing this on screen, right?
08:44Let's just, I don't know, let's just call it a cacophony of chaos, where you must deal
08:48with a moving floor, spiked walls, and Oogie's shenanigans.
08:58Now in part three, the culmination is a grueling battle where Lock, Shock, and Barrel join in
09:03on the fun, as they hop into a buggy insectoid robot thing that Oogie rides around on, doing
09:09everything that he can to defeat Jack.
09:11Each phase of this three-part showdown tests every skill and ability you have learned up
09:15to this point.
09:16So, let's save Halloweentown.
09:18Jafar, Snake Form, Aladdin.
09:28Now, we are talking about both the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis versions of Jafar's Snake
09:33Form, since they are both incredibly tough in their own unique ways.
09:37For the Super Nintendo version, you must be sure to be an absolute pro at utilizing Aladdin's
09:42acrobatics, in order to hop on the eggs the slippery serpent spits to bop him on the head,
09:47in tandem with avoiding the fiery depths below.
09:58Then over in the Genesis version, you must have pixel-perfect precision with Aladdin's
10:02jumps, as you avoid each fiery flame attack that constantly seems to seek you out.
10:07Doing this while lobbing well-placed apple attacks is no easy feat either.
10:11So no matter which version of Aladdin you play, you will be in for a heck of a time against
10:16Jafar's nefarious serpent form.
10:22So do you agree with our picks for this list?
