[TECHNICAL COMMANDS & STEPS INCLUDED IN THIS VIDEO]:
Prioritize Fortnite Client in Windows Registry:
Open Command Prompt (Admin) and type:
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping.exe\PerfOptions" /v "CpuPriorityClass" /t REG_DWORD /d 3 /f
Why? This forces your CPU to treat Fortnite as a "High Priority" process above all other background apps, giving you more stable FPS during intense build fights.
Disable Game DVR to Kill Mouse Latency:
Type this to remove the hidden Xbox recording layer:
reg add "HKCU\System\GameConfigStore" /v "GameDVR_Enabled" /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
Why? Fortnite is extremely sensitive to Windows "Game Bar". Disabling this from the registry is the only way to get true raw mouse input.
Verify DirectX 12 Shaders & Cleaning:
Type: del /q /f /s "%localappdata%\FortniteGame\Saved\PersistentDownloadDir\*"
Why? Old shader data causes those annoying hitches when you first jump off the battle bus. This command clears the junk so the game can build a fresh, fast cache.
