00:01Welcome back to Suzuka, where at just 19 years and 216 days,
00:06Kimi Antonelli has secured back-to-back Grand Prix victories.
00:11All smiles for him.
00:12He dropped a seat, but a safety car brought him back into it.
00:15Let's hear from him now. He's with Jenson.
00:18Thank you. Thank you.
00:22Kimi, amazing result. Congratulations on the win.
00:26I think for everyone watching, you know, a win is a win in Formula One.
00:29But from a driver's point of view, we understand how special this is, winning at Suzuka.
00:35Is that how you feel?
00:36Yeah, I mean, racing in such a historic track is, you know, it's a unique experience.
00:44Already qualifying, I think qualifying here is probably the most special of the year.
00:50And yeah, it was a good weekend overall.
00:53I felt very good in the car.
00:54Of course, it was very annoying with the start, which is an area where I need to work a lot.
01:00But then the pace was very strong.
01:02Obviously, I was lucky with the safety car.
01:03But at the end, after the restart, I had to do the rest.
01:07So no, that was good.
01:09Trust me.
01:10Over time, you'll have the good and the bad of the luck.
01:12It happens.
01:12So you've got to take the wins.
01:14The start, was it the same problem as you've had before?
01:16Or was it something different?
01:17Because it looked from the commentary booth that you had so much wheel spin off the line.
01:22So basically, I didn't insert the finger that well in the clutch.
01:28So that led to the fact that I dropped the clutch more than what I should have.
01:34And obviously, then I went beyond the grip that was available.
01:36And I, because the reaction was good.
01:38But then obviously, I wheel spin straight away.
01:40So then I was sitting down.
01:42And it seems every race this year, you have been fighting back, which has been great for
01:47us watching, seeing you fight through the field.
01:50Yeah, I mean, obviously, the car is quick.
01:52And I think this race, the pace was very, very strong.
01:57But obviously, I've been making my life a lot harder this year with the start.
02:03So I need to improve on that.
02:04But yeah, it was also good fun to fight back and to come through the field.
02:08And yeah, now three weeks of break and we'll try to come back stronger in Miami.
02:14Yeah, so we've noticed quite a big, I personally have noticed quite a big difference in you
02:17this weekend.
02:18Just I think in your confidence in the way that you're driving unbelievably quick,
02:23but within yourself, not over driving at all.
02:25And it's, it's impressive to see.
02:27And I think it, I don't know if it comes from that first win you had.
02:30Yeah, for sure.
02:31I think he removed a lot of weight from my shoulder.
02:35I feel more relaxed, also more aware of the potential, which helps a lot.
02:43So definitely, I'm feeling better and better every time I go in the car.
02:46Yeah.
02:47And how was Toto?
02:48I haven't seen Toto after the race, but he must have been very, very impressed with how
02:53today went for you.
02:54He was happy, for sure he's happy, but he's going to kick my butt because of the start.
02:58So, well, I deserve that.
02:59So yeah, but no, no, another incredible result.
03:03And obviously it's, it's a shame with the break because we have such a good momentum,
03:07but we'll try to make the best out of it.
03:09Yeah.
03:09You need something to improve on Kimi.
03:11Yeah.
03:11So it's okay.
03:12Yeah, it's okay.
03:13It's okay.
03:13I'll practice a lot of starts.
03:15Well, congratulations.
03:15Have a nice rest.
03:17Enjoy this.
03:17And we'll see you in Canada.
03:20Thank you so much.
03:21Thank you so much.
