Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday led a high-energy roadshow in poll-bound Kerala’s Thrissur, drawing thousands of supporters who lined the streets for a glimpse of him. The procession, which began near the district hospital, wound through the city, turning it into a sea of party flags and slogans. Braving the evening heat, people gathered hours in advance, cheering and recording the moment as Modi greeted them from an open vehicle. NDA candidates, including Padmaja Venugopal and Union minister Suresh Gopi, attended the roadshow. PM Modi had earlier arrived at the Kuttanellur helipad, where he was received by senior BJP-NDA leaders.
