04:15And let's see who can get closest or even try and beat it. Not his teammate on this occasion.
04:19Perez, half a second down. Hamilton's gone quickest through the middle sector.

04:28He was on the used tyres, remember. New tyres for Hamilton as Leclerc goes fastest overall in the middle sector.
04:34Hamilton goes second fastest behind Verstappen. Less than a tenth of a second difference between the two cars.
04:42Or just over a tenth of a second I should say. But here's one to watch.
04:46Charles Leclerc has got a burst of pace and goes quickest. On onto Provisional Pole.
04:52Through the last corner, DRS open. Look at his head's down. He's got his head down as low as he

04:57Trying for every last thousandth of a second. And it's worked. It's improved.
05:02A 1.10.3. That's what the rest are now chasing. Carlos Sainz had a very good first sector.
05:07And a decent middle sector too. He's very much in touch. Max Verstappen aced the middle sector.
05:12It was on pole last year. His DRS wasn't working. He was still on pole. It's working now.
05:18Verstappen crosses the line. It's working enough to put Verstappen on pole and listen to that roar.
05:23But it's only Provisional Pole because there's others that can take it. Sainz won't. Nine hundredths of a second.
05:29Carlos Sainz is away from the pace and Sergio Perez has crashed at the final corner.
05:36And what a dramatic end to qualifying. Let's look what happened to Sergio Perez.
05:40Not the way you want to end qualifying. But yeah, he was trying to find that extra time.
05:45Ferrari starting on the front row at Zandvoort alongside the home hero Max Verstappen.
05:52A definite shout out for the Mercedes boys though. Lewis didn't get to finish his lap.
05:56And I don't think George did either. His last sector was much slower.
05:59So I think he just got to the yellow flag.
