The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) Watch HD [Full Movie] [Trending]Full EP - Full
Transcript
00:00:14The film which you are about to see is an account of the tragedy which befell a group of five
00:00:19youths. In particular, Sally Hardesty and her invalid brother, Franklin. It is all the more
00:00:26tragic in that they were young. But had they lived very, very long lives, they could not have expected,
00:00:33nor would they have wished to see as much of the mad and macabre as they were to see that
00:00:38day.
00:00:39For them, an idyllic summer afternoon drive became a nightmare. The events of that day were
00:00:46to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history,
00:00:52the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
00:02:16This is only one of a series to be handed down as a result of a special grand jury investigation.
00:02:22Grave robbing in Texas is this hour's top news story.
00:02:26An informant led officers of the Muerto County Sheriff's Department to a cemetery just outside the small rural Texas community
00:02:33of Newt early this morning.
00:02:34Officers there discovered what appeared to be a grisly work of art.
00:02:38The remains of a badly decomposed body wired to a large monument.
00:02:42A second body was found in a ditch near the perimeter of the cemetery.
00:02:47Subsequent investigation has revealed at least a dozen empty crypts, and it's feared war will turn up as the probe
00:02:53continues.
00:02:54Deputies report that in some instances, only parts of a corpse had been removed.
00:02:59The head, or in some cases, the extremities removed, the remainder of the corpse left intact.
00:03:05Evidence indicates the robberies have occurred over a period of time.
00:03:08Sheriff, Jesus Maldonado, refused to give details in the ghoulish case and said only that he did have strong evidence
00:03:15linking the crime to elements outside the state.
00:03:18Area residents have reportedly converged on the cemetery, fearing the remains of relatives have been removed.
00:03:24No suspects are in custody as the investigation at the scene continues.
00:03:29Oil storage units continue to burn out of control at the huge Texaco refinery near the Texas-Louisiana border.
00:03:37Three storage units exploded into flames during the night, killing at least three workers and entering a dozen more.
00:03:43Firefighting units from three Texas cities continue to battle across with an effort to confide 24 flames.
00:03:49The smoke of the fire has been removed from Houston residents some 60 miles to the south.
00:03:54Health officials in San Francisco reluctantly admit they may have a cholera epidemic on their hands.
00:04:00Some 40 cases of a highly infectious disease have been confirmed.
00:04:04It is believed that a disease that the authorities are responsible for the spread of the disease.
00:04:12Houston police are puzzled over an outbreak of violence apparently touched off by a suicide.
00:04:17A young man reportedly angered by a local television blackout at a sports event jumped from the 10th story window
00:04:23of his apartment.
00:04:25A second man allegedly threatened to leave his death in the same window but was restrained by police.
00:04:31Witnesses to the incident reportedly urged the man to jump and respond to a crime.
00:04:36The incident was treated for minor wounds at Bentau Hospital and released.
00:04:52A 16-story building under construction of downtown Atlanta collapsed today killing at least 29 persons.
00:05:00The engineering firm responsible for the structural design of the building could offer no explanation of the collapse.
00:05:07The construction firm say there's no bunch of recent collapse suspected of a sabotage.
00:05:14The police in Gary, Indiana, have been unable to identify the bodies of a young man or woman.
00:05:26The police first identified the victims as two women.
00:05:33Continuing squabbings of the local government's over the oil-rich regions of the upper Amazon, today erupted into violence.
00:05:40Portions of at least three South American governments have been involved.
00:05:46They're up to date now.
00:05:48They're out to date now.
00:05:49Disputed territory.
00:05:51Details were sketchy.
00:05:52And as yet none of the government's involved has acknowledged.
00:05:57The police in Dallas arrested a young couple today.
00:06:00After complaints by neighbors led them to discover the 18-month-old daughter of the couple.
00:06:04Chained in the attic of a dilapidated house.
00:06:07The couple rented.
00:06:08Pulled a branch of the downtown area.
00:06:10A secondary building.
00:06:12Hey.
00:06:13Hold on.
00:06:17You're going questioning what?
00:06:18Franklin!
00:06:22Help!
00:06:25Help!
00:06:30Help!
00:06:31You okay?
00:06:31No.
00:06:32I'm sorry.
00:06:34Up to ten feet.
00:06:36Civil defense officials report five related counts here.
00:06:38This heat is just driving me crazy.
00:06:41I don't know if I can take much more of that.
00:06:42Listen.
00:06:42The condition of retrogradation is contrary or inharmonious to the regular direction of actual movement in the zodiac.
00:06:49And is in that respect evil.
00:06:52Hence, when malefic planets are in retrograde and Saturn's malefic, okay?
00:06:57Their malefice is increased.
00:06:59Have you been doing those Reader's Digest word power columns together?
00:07:02Jerry, it just means Saturn's a bad influence.
00:07:04It's just particularly a bad influence now because it's in retrograde.
00:07:09Hey man, you believe all that stuff your old lady's talking to me?
00:07:11I don't know.
00:07:31My granddaddy's buried here.
00:07:32Can we find out if anything happened to him?
00:07:34What's your granddaddy's name?
00:07:35Honey, that big, heavy fella is standing with that flashlight in his hand.
00:07:39That's a sheriff.
00:07:41You go tell him your granddaddy's buried in there.
00:07:44Okay.
00:07:44He'll let you in.
00:07:46Hey fella, I'm gonna run off with the girl a minute.
00:07:47You don't mind, do you?
00:07:48Honey, I'll get you to the sheriff.
00:07:49Here come that fella.
00:07:50Hey folks, let us through here.
00:07:51This girl's granddaddy's buried here.
00:07:52Come on.
00:07:53Been in there the whole time.
00:07:55Didn't know.
00:07:55I didn't know.
00:07:57I didn't know.
00:07:57Things happen here about, they'll tell about.
00:08:03I see things.
00:08:09You see, they say it's just an old man talking.
00:08:17You laugh at an old man.
00:08:20There's them that laughs and knows better.
00:08:31Yes, they're sure.
00:08:33The man said they could tell if the grave had been dug up.
00:08:36Franklin, don't worry.
00:08:37I saw it myself.
00:08:39He didn't look dug up to me.
00:08:45What's that?
00:08:46What smells?
00:08:50What is that stage?
00:08:52The room on the window.
00:08:56Hey.
00:08:58That's the old slaughterhouse.
00:09:00That's where grandpa used to sell his cattle.
00:09:04Hey, we got an uncle that works at one of those places outside of Fort Worth.
00:09:08Hey, you see those buildings there?
00:09:10That's where they kill them.
00:09:12They bash them in the head with a big sledgehammer.
00:09:14Oh, that's awful.
00:09:15It usually wouldn't kill them on the first leg.
00:09:33I mean, they'd start squealing and freaking out and everything, and they'd have to come up and bash them two
00:09:37or three times.
00:09:38And then sometimes it wouldn't kill them.
00:09:40I mean, they'd skin them sometimes even before they were even dead.
00:09:42Oh, that's horrible.
00:09:43Yeah.
00:09:43That people shouldn't kill animals for food.
00:09:46Oh, well, they don't do it like that anymore.
00:09:48Now they got this big air gun that shoots a bolt into their skull and then retracts it.
00:09:52It's just boom.
00:09:54It goes boom.
00:09:55And then it's like boom.
00:09:55Franklin, I like me.
00:09:57Please change the subject.
00:09:58Boom.
00:09:58Boom.
00:09:59That's terrible.
00:09:59It's still going on.
00:10:03Oh, man.
00:10:05It's hot in here.
00:10:13Hitchhiker.
00:10:14Should we pick him up?
00:10:15Oh, yeah, man.
00:10:16Pick him up.
00:10:16He'll asphyxiate out there.
00:10:17What does he look like?
00:10:18The son of a bitch is going to smell just like the slaughterhouse.
00:10:21Oh, give the guy a break.
00:10:22He can sit by Franklin.
00:10:24What do you want to do?
00:10:25Oh, he's weird, Bookie.
00:10:27No.
00:10:46Well, I think we just picked up Franklin.
00:10:49Where you headed, man?
00:10:52South.
00:10:52You work at that place?
00:10:54Oh, no.
00:10:56How did you get stuck way out here?
00:10:59I was at the slaughterhouse.
00:11:01I got an uncle that works at the slaughterhouse.
00:11:03Hey, my brother worked there.
00:11:05My grandfather, too.
00:11:08My family's always been in me.
00:11:11My whole family of Dracula.
00:11:14Hey, man, did you go in that slaughter room or whatever they call it?
00:11:17The place where they shoot the cattle in the head with that big air gun thing.
00:11:20Oh, that gun's no good.
00:11:22I was in there once with my uncle.
00:11:24No way.
00:11:26With a sledge.
00:11:28See, that was better.
00:11:29They died better that way.
00:11:31How come?
00:11:32I thought the gun was better.
00:11:33Oh, no.
00:11:34Well, it's a new way people put out jobs.
00:11:39You do that?
00:11:40Look.
00:11:47I was the killer.
00:11:50Damn.
00:11:50Let me see him.
00:11:52They don't send the heads away.
00:11:54It's your teeth.
00:11:55Yeah.
00:11:56Franklin.
00:11:59See?
00:11:59They make head cheese.
00:12:03They take the head and they boil it, except for the tongue.
00:12:10And they scrape all the flesh away from the bone.
00:12:14They use everything.
00:12:16They don't throw nothing away.
00:12:18They use the jowls, the muscles, the eyes and the ligaments and everything.
00:12:24Look at this.
00:12:26The nose and the gums and all the flesh and it boil it down into a big chili of fats.
00:12:30Wow.
00:12:31I didn't know that's what was in that stuff.
00:12:33It's really good.
00:12:35You like it?
00:12:37Yeah.
00:12:37I like it.
00:12:38It's good.
00:12:39It sounds horrible.
00:12:40Is it possible we could talk about something else?
00:12:43Oh, you'd probably like it if you didn't know what was in it.
00:12:45No, I wouldn't.
00:12:46And I wish you'd stop talking about it.
00:12:48Oh.
00:12:50Oh, Franklin, you're making everybody sick.
00:12:52Oh, all right.
00:13:09What are you doing?
00:13:25What are you doing here, Sal?
00:13:29Oh, my God.
00:13:33Oh, my God.
00:13:35Oh, my God.
00:13:36Oh, my God.
00:13:37Oh, my God.
00:13:38Oh, my God.
00:13:43Oh, my God.
00:13:46Oh, my God.
00:13:49Oh, my God.
00:13:50Oh, my God.
00:13:50Oh, my God.
00:13:50Oh, my God.
00:13:50Oh, my God.
00:13:50Oh, my God.
00:13:54Oh, my God.
00:13:58Oh, my God.
00:14:02Oh, my God.
00:14:07Oh, my God.
00:14:12It's a good night.
00:14:13I'm sure it is, man.
00:14:45It's a good night.
00:15:09We're in pretty much of a hurry.
00:15:13It's real close.
00:15:14Well, couldn't you just walk?
00:15:16I mean, if it's so close.
00:15:20You could have dinner with us.
00:15:22You like head cheese.
00:15:24My brother makes it real good.
00:15:26You like it.
00:15:26I think we'd better push on, ma'am.
00:15:28Don't you, Jared?
00:15:30Yeah, I'm sorry.
00:15:54It didn't turn out so good.
00:15:58It's a nice picture.
00:16:00You can pay me now.
00:16:01Two dollars.
00:16:03It's a good picture.
00:16:04No, man.
00:16:05Frankly, give him back an apple.
00:16:07It's a good picture.
00:16:08It's a good picture.
00:16:10It's a good picture.
00:16:10It's a good picture.
00:16:10Are you kidding me?
00:16:11I'm sorry, man.
00:16:13It's a good picture.
00:16:14Sidewalk cafe, drinking coffee, watching women walk by.
00:16:22The color of their hair, not the reason that I stay, but I'll
00:16:43I'm sorry, man.
00:16:45Oh.
00:16:45Oh, my God.
00:16:49Oh, my God.
00:16:54It's a good picture.
00:16:56Oh, my God.
00:16:57Oh, my God.
00:16:58Oh, thank God.
00:16:58Oh, my God.
00:17:37Oh, my God.
00:17:40Oh, I'm about to have pretty to call a cop.
00:17:43That's the last goddamn hitchhiker I ever met.
00:17:53Hey, listen to Franklin's horoscope.
00:17:57Oh, my God.
00:17:59Oh, my God.
00:17:59Long-range plans and upsetting persons around you could make this a disturbing and unpredictable day.
00:18:09The events in the world are not doing much either to cheer one up.
00:18:13That's just perfect.
00:18:16Franklin, I think that'll be all I have to do to you.
00:18:17I can't reach out.
00:18:19It's Capricorn.
00:18:28I don't know.
00:18:30Capricorn's ruled by Saturn.
00:18:34There are moments when we cannot believe that what is happening is really true.
00:18:38Pinch yourself and you may find out that it is.
00:18:50The girl I met last night.
00:18:55And I'll make her cry.
00:18:59I'm on to the side.
00:18:59Now she sleeps so tight.
00:19:02I'll get inside.
00:19:07I'll get inside.
00:19:13Hurry up, we'll try to get home.
00:19:23Here comes somebody.
00:19:31How are you?
00:19:35Would you fill her up, please?
00:19:38I got no gas.
00:19:41You're out of gas?
00:19:42My tank's empty.
00:19:44Transport won't be here until late this afternoon.
00:19:47Maybe not even until tomorrow morning.
00:19:51Hey, you know where the old Franklin place is?
00:19:59The old Franklin place?
00:20:01Yeah, it's an old two-story rock house and it's sitting up on a hill.
00:20:04I think you have to turn on that road back there, but I'm not real sure.
00:20:08Yeah, maybe I've seen something like that up that way.
00:20:13Well, now look, you boys don't want to go mess around the old house.
00:20:19But those things is dangerous.
00:20:21You're liable to get hurt.
00:20:22We'll be careful.
00:20:24You don't want to go fooling around other folks' property.
00:20:27Some folks don't like it and they don't mind showing you.
00:20:31Oh, my father owns it.
00:20:32Well, that's your daddy's place, huh?
00:20:34Yeah.
00:20:35Look, I got some good barbecue here.
00:20:39Why don't you fellas stick around here a while, huh?
00:20:42That transport will be by in a little while.
00:20:43Well, you want to get some barbecue?
00:20:50Them girls now, they don't want to go mess around the old house.
00:20:55Best you stick around here.
00:21:08You know, we should have asked him if there was another gas station around.
00:21:12Don't you think he would have told us if there was?
00:21:15It wouldn't hurt to ask, huh?
00:21:18Okay, I'll go ask.
00:21:24Damn it, the hell we should have stopped back there for gas.
00:21:29Hey, you think this place has room service?
00:21:34Franklin, you maniac, carrying out the van.
00:21:38Um, yeah, I just started doing that.
00:21:46Hey, I bet that's some of that guy's blood.
00:21:50Look at that. Look at that.
00:21:53You think that's blood?
00:21:54Yeah, I guess so.
00:21:58Well, that's blood on it.
00:22:00And that guy cut the hell out of himself.
00:22:03You think you could do that to yourself?
00:22:07Like crazy?
00:22:08Yeah, but, you know.
00:22:11I mean, it takes something, though.
00:22:12I mean, just to do that to yourself like you did.
00:22:15God.
00:22:19Do you think I said something made him mad?
00:22:24Well, what?
00:22:25Franklin, you're crazy, isn't he, Wild?
00:22:27No.
00:22:30Hey, I got us some barbecue.
00:22:32Hmm?
00:22:32Dude's the closest place to get gas.
00:22:41We're going out to Grandpa's place, aren't we?
00:22:43There's a creek.
00:22:44You could go swimming.
00:22:45Let's go.
00:22:46Come on.
00:22:47Come on, Sally.
00:22:48We're going out to Grandpa's place.
00:22:49Let's go.
00:22:51Hey, that guy smeared blood all over the van.
00:22:54Yeah.
00:22:56Looks like he's trying to ride something.
00:22:58What?
00:22:58What'd he do?
00:22:59He rides up on the van?
00:23:01There's a friend who's tired of the van.
00:23:05As the highest, highest crowns.
00:23:22Let me see your knife.
00:23:36Franklin, if we run out of gas before we get back to that service station, you told us
00:23:41back in the chair. Hey, you think that guy's just trying to scare us by, you know, blowing up my
00:23:57picture like that?
00:24:21I'm not sure.
00:24:45I'll put the headless in place on the farm.
00:24:50I'll put the headless in place on the farm.
00:24:53I'll have them.
00:24:55Is that window over there?
00:24:57Yeah, that's true.
00:25:00There you go.
00:25:02Oh, dear.
00:25:03What's wrong?
00:25:04What's wrong?
00:25:05What's wrong?
00:25:06What's wrong?
00:25:06Get straight.
00:25:09I'll get you.
00:25:10I don't see the smell of that guy's name.
00:25:20Well, that's weird.
00:25:22I wonder if that means something.
00:25:24It's the Marcos Zorro.
00:25:25He's gonna get you.
00:25:26Jerry, come on.
00:25:26Why don't you wash it off, okay?
00:25:28I want to show you the inside.
00:25:31Jerry!
00:25:32Okay.
00:25:35Hey, wait a minute.
00:25:35Wait a minute.
00:25:36Come here.
00:25:37Come on, sir.
00:25:39Here, man.
00:25:39You wash it off.
00:25:41Hey, you don't think that guy would try and follow us, do you?
00:25:44Watch for it.
00:25:57Where's my knife?
00:25:59Kurt.
00:25:59Oh, my God.
00:26:02It looks like there must have been a nursery room.
00:26:04Oh, this is my room.
00:26:06I got to stay here one time when I was eight years old.
00:26:09Right after my grandmother died.
00:26:10What happened?
00:26:12What happened to my grandmother?
00:26:13Yes.
00:26:14She died.
