00:00I mean, I'm not glad it happened, but I'm glad I got the award.
00:02I'm Claire Cormack and I work at Ollipull High School
00:05and I've won the Secondary School Teacher of the Year with Island Heroes.
00:10I've won the Primary School Teacher of the Year award
00:13and it feels very surreal at the moment.
00:16Senior Pupil of the Year.
00:17Brave Child of the Year.
00:19I feel absolutely amazing.
00:21Amazing really, a shock at first, yeah.
00:23I'm glad everyone who voted for me voted for me.
00:26Yeah.
00:26Are you really happy?
00:28Yeah.
00:28How do you feel inside?
00:30I don't know.
00:31I feel like a little bit unworthy in some ways
00:34because I think that there's lots and lots of wonderful people
00:36who work within Education.
00:37I know lots and lots of wonderful people
00:39who work within Ollipull and within our schools
00:41and yeah, I feel like I'm representing them
00:44rather than representing myself right now.
00:46I don't expect to win because coming from a small village
00:48we didn't expect to get that many votes really.
00:50It was just like a shock to have won
00:53and just a really nice feeling.
00:56I've been doing the job so long
00:57and this is like so exciting
00:59and I can't wait actually to take it back
01:01for the kids in the school.
01:03On my table next to my bed.
01:05I'll probably go beside my bed
01:07or beside my fish tank.
01:09Yeah.
01:10It was an honour just to be in the finals for it.
