01:07apartments for up to 239 pounds a night and meet hosts with international ambitions we've got
01:14products coming from dubai we wanted everything to be on the top high-end market all of the
01:19apartments have got huge tvs large jacuzzi tubes big enough for two people comfortably we wanted
01:24the wow factor and as far as the competition is concerned uzi and bobzy don't expect to earn any
01:30black marks we pride hygiene to the toughest we have to keep it basically spanking as new
01:38our cleanliness is spotless about to arrive is today's first guest it's like a very elite

07:16high-end i'd expect a marble worktop or something a bit better quality than a cheap labinet did not
07:21expect flat packed furniture you can see there where it's starting to come away and not being fit
07:28very well and the chips as well in general it's a budget kitchen room inspections almost over nick's

07:53bradford was the first city in the uk to introduce school dinners back in 1907 and today hosts

08:19that's been built in the middle of mr lister's garden mr lister was a famous person from bradford
08:25that had a textiles factory that put bradford city onto the map amazing and this is the famous mughal
08:31gardens built after the style of taj mahal it's absolutely beautiful yeah it's gorgeous the famous
08:37story about the taj mahal and mughal garden was once it was built the hands of the laborers were
08:42chopped off by the emperor so nobody could copy their style wow it's a good job they don't chop
08:46workman's hands off anymore yeah they don't it's a good job otherwise i don't think there'd be many
08:50laborers clearly oz and bobby are very engaged in their local community they love it they know the
08:59history they tell it like tour guides with the hosts highlighting heritage next they take the group to

11:51i can't fully agree with there's been no expense spared they did set my expectation up here and they
11:57are falling a little bit short it's definitely not dubai it's definitely not luxury like they gave off

13:55was a good night's sleep not too bad at all and back in his and shauna's room sam's found some

14:01with the tube it's very dusty when the screws the tv bracket the dust from the screws are still there
14:09breakfast at optimal apartments is a self-catering affair and with the guests getting to grips with
14:14the gear little one from the scrambled eggs buzzy and bobsy can taste success our kitchens are fully
14:22equipped and i strongly believe our guests are going to come away happy after having their breakfast
14:29kitchen feels nice and clean the oven looks brand new so does the microwave it doesn't look like it's
14:34being used at all very well set up yeah i'm excited i mean it's more cupboard space than i have
14:41at home
14:42they've got everything that you need really in there yeah good selection salt and pepper
14:48it's clean it's functional did everything it said on the can kit commended the guests crack on
14:57go on chef get your eggs on the go look how that moves around that's a really good pan
15:05there we are nice healthy breakfast
15:09come on sausage cooking complete what are you waiting for get what you're giving grubs up
15:19that's good nice and healthy it's actually pretty good this shona not bad it tastes all right
15:29i'd prefer fresh coffee if i could um instant coffee will have to do for now the kitchens in dubai
15:36would have a fresh coffee machine so not exactly a dubai kitchen for me with dan not full of beans
15:44next everyone discusses whether they're wilder about the apartment i do think we really need to work on
15:50the facilities and cleanliness and maybe look at upgrading a few things to make it that bit more
15:56luxurious yeah i think the potential is definitely there but i think they are over pricing it for
16:02what it currently is i don't think it's really value for money at all my expectation of the apartment
16:09was way up here based upon what uzi described as a dubai apartment it's a nice apartment but it's
16:16definitely not dubai they've done such an amazing job of upscaling and high-ending the property really
16:23you know flat pack is not what you expect to see stay studied the next visit is on the agenda

17:20how clean was optimal apartments at a high standard i'd score them a 10. there was dirt above the door
17:31there was plaster rubble in the living room tv surround there was dust behind the bedroom tv we
17:37found crumbs in the toaster and we also found a cleaning cloth left in the bathroom i think they
17:42deserve a five how were the facilities i was impressed with the tech however the coffee machine was missing
17:49from the kitchen the mirror in the bathroom had some damage to the corner a nine the bathroom gave
17:55us a wild factor didn't it cheap flat pack furniture cheap laminate flooring budget kitchen and cheap white
18:03sockets i'd say six agreed slightly messy cables in the lounge and absolutely ditch the flat pack go quality eight
18:16how did you sleep we had a comfy bed and we had a great night's sleep it's got to be
18:21a 10 hasn't it yeah
18:22i had a great sleep slept well i'd score them 10. how was your breakfast totally functional and well thought
18:32out kitchen spaces and that's a 10. would you stay here again yes definitely and that's a yes
18:41based on what we've the problems we found with the facilities and the cleanliness it's going to have
18:47for us is it now the guests must pay what they think their stay was worth i agreed i agreed

18:56will be kept secret until the end of the competition but for now busy and bobsy can see if optimal

19:10we scored a 10 perfect not bad touch for that one a high standard of course very high standard how
19:17were the facilities nine out of ten bob fantastic tech was at a high standard we don't miss out attention
19:23to detail yeah no coffee machine in the kitchen i think that for the price i think it's it's fine
