00:00One of our contestants could walk away with our $20,000 jackpot, but to do that, they'll
00:05have to conquer this magnificent machine. Who'll claim the cash? I'm Todd Woodbridge.
00:09Let's release the counters and play Tipping Points.
00:33Welcome to Tipping Point, where these three contestants are ready to take on the machine,
00:38so let's meet them. Hi Todd, I'm Casey. I'm a marketing manager from Brighton and if I win
00:44today I'll be putting that money towards my move to Nashville.
00:47Hi Todd, I'm Richard. I'm from Camberwell, Victoria. I'm a mature age model and if I win today I will
00:53be taking my wife, Annette, over to Europe.
00:56Hi Todd, I'm Mae. I'm a HR advisor from Brisbane. I love playing touch football. I'm very competitive
01:02and you might see some of that today. Oh, we hope so Mae.
01:07Now Mae, I was reading about touch football. I didn't realise there's variations of touch and
01:13you play like all three of them. Yeah. Tell us about it.
01:16Yeah, so I play TRL, touch football and AusTag. It's very fun.
01:19Any trophies in the cabinet? A couple. Nice, well done. Congratulations. See
01:22if there's a big trophy on offer today. It's called the jackpot. You have to play well to get that,
01:26but good luck to you. Thank you. I love this title,
01:29Richard. Mature age model. Yes, yes. Now, when did that start? Well, you know,
01:35it got to the, you know, sort of retirement age and sort of just sitting around, sort of,
01:39just, what do I do next? Yeah. Sort of, don't go wrong. Just use my good looks. Yeah.
01:43And you're styling today as well. I love the shirt. Thank you.
01:46Good luck, Richard. Thank you Todd. And Casey, a move to Nashville,
01:51but there's some things you haven't told us yet. Yes. So it's to go and be with my husband.
01:57We've been together for seven years, married for two, and we have yet to live together.
02:02Oh, well that keeps it fresh. Yes. It's been a long distance relationship.
02:06So the plan is to set base in the States? Yes. Nice. Well, good luck with all of that.
02:10Thank you. I know money will help with that,
02:12but everybody wants it. You ready to play? Yes. Ready to play. Good luck.
02:16All right. We'll get on with it. Let's play round one, Bank Builder.
02:23In the Bank Builder round, it's your chance to make some serious cash. Every counter that you
02:27push over the tipping point will add $100 into your bank. And in this round, you each start with
02:32three counters. If you buzz in and answer correctly, you can choose to play one of your own counters into
02:37the machine, or you could ask one of your opponents to play one of theirs instead. If you answer
02:42incorrectly or don't answer within three seconds, you've got to take your counter away from you.
02:47In the machine, on the bottom shelf, you'll see the two double counters. Push those over
02:51to double the value of your drop, along with the two mystery counters that are sitting on top today.
02:55Push those over, and you'll be going home with a nice price. Time to get things started.
02:59Hands on buzzers, please. Here comes the opening question.
03:02Opened in Australia in 1969, what major retail chain uses a big red K in its logo? Casey?
03:10Kmart. It is Kmart. Yes.
03:14You want to play the first counter today? From a more tactical point of view,
03:18I think the second counter generally gets more over, so I'm going to pass it to May.
03:23Okay, May. Okay. Casey's been studying. She has.
03:27You said you were competitive. It seems like Casey is too. I am.
03:30Where are you going to put the first one? I think I'm going to go drop zone one. Light up
03:35one.
03:37Let's see what we can get out of this machine today.
03:45Oh, that's a drop. Good drop.
03:48Don't go right. Stay left. It does. Lines up with the other greys, and that gets you down.
04:16Casey? Handmaid's tail. Game of thrones.
04:19Oh, yes. Casey. Casey.
04:23Casey. They'll take a counter away from you.
04:26Moving on. A sphinx cat is a unique domestic breed known for its apparent lack of what physical
04:31characteristic? May. Fur.
04:33Correct. Hair, coat, fur. Well done, May.
04:38Are you going to play? Yes, I think I'll play. Where are you off to?
04:42I think I'll do drop zone one again. Back to one. Light it up again. Second time for May.
04:48Quite close to it.
04:54Middle. Oh, that's a good position.
04:59Now, you've got to go left a bit. Oh, there you go.
05:02There you go. You could get a double here, May.
05:06Oh!
05:10I'm happy with that. You should be happy, but everything came from underneath the double,
05:14and it didn't come with it. I know. But in the end, it's a half a dozen,
05:18so it's a very good drop. 600 goes up and into the machine. Let's go.
05:22Take it out of there. Put that into the bank.
05:25And you've got an eight-counter lead over Casey and Richard. You only have one
05:29counter left to play, May. Casey's got two. Richard, still got all three. That's okay.
05:33Plenty of questions to still throw at you. And here comes the next one.
05:37Home to a famous decorative arts collection, London's V&A Museum is named for Prince Albert
05:42and Queen who?
05:44Casey? Victoria. Yes. Well done.
05:48Play the second one, Casey?
05:50Uh, yes, I will. You didn't get to play the first one.
05:52He gave one away to May and one back to me. Yeah. I think I'm going to go for drop
05:58zone four.
05:59Let's go down the far end. Line it up.
06:06That's good. Don't go into that little corner.
06:11If I can just get one down. Here we go. You've got the double.
06:15Nice work. Get on the board.
06:21Casey there is three in that wind zone and there is one that is defying gravity.
06:27Yes, it is. Well, let's take that 300 from the machine and when we put that into your bank,
06:31you'll now be five behind May. Next question. Filmed in WA, the 2024 film The Surfer
06:40stars which American? Richard? Um, Nicolas Cage. Yes. Well, that American actor is the title
06:46character. There it is. It was in and it was gone and it came back, fortunately. Yeah.
06:54Drop zone four, Todd. Line up four for Richard. First drop of the day for him.
06:58I'm going to do the double. I'm going to do the double.
07:04Good decision. Should be nice. It'll go to the left at wrap around. There it goes.
07:10I'll put the double.
07:14Ah, getting that double down.
07:18One from the right, two from the left. Three in total to get you started with some money in the
07:22bank, Richard. 300 goes up. Let's get it out of there quickly. Put that in and you've tied with Casey.
07:28Good job. So, Mae, you've got a five-counter lead over Casey and Richard. You've got a counter left
07:33like Casey. Richard, you have two. Which city in the U.S. state of Massachusetts hosts one of the
07:39world marathon majors? Casey? Boston. It is Boston, yes. Richard.
07:45Gotta be fast. Fast. So quick. Hang on to it. Casey? Yes. Last counter. Where should she go?
07:53What do we think? I think probably four. Four? I think there's enough on the edge there
07:56to get something over, I hope. And maybe even a double. Hopefully. Good luck. Light up four,
08:00please. Give it a double, Casey. Give it a double.
08:08Oh, Casey. It's a rider. It's a rider, but you might ride up and knock something else off.
08:15It doesn't. Oh, no. I'm lucky. This shuffles to the left and sits on top. Casey, out of countess,
08:21you need to sit back and see what Richard and Mae do with these final few questions.
08:26In the New York Times online puzzle game, Connections, players need to link items into
08:30groups of how many? Richard. Four. Yeah, well done. Thank you.
08:39A guess, Todd. A guess. I thought you were. It's a big guess, but a good guess now.
08:43Good guess. Okay. Well, number four, of course. Light up four. Casey did some building on the top
08:46shelf, but nothing came off. That's good. That's good. It'll slide down the wall. It just depends
08:57how many it might knock off. No. Oh, yeah. It's a couple.
09:11Rick's back. The support crew firing up. That's five that came over. And once again,
09:16though, they slipped out from underneath the double. So 500 goes up. That's good.
09:21And when I move it, you're going to be tied with Mae, Richard, with a counter left to play.
09:26So down to the final two questions. Tight game. Casey, you're still in it. They haven't got away
09:31from you yet. Next question is this. A spice with a distinct licorice flavour is most commonly
09:37sold in Australia as star what? Richard. Anise. That's right. Well done.
09:42Yeah.
09:44Gonna have to have a crack at four again, Todd. Another crack at four. Light it up.
09:55Okay. A little sticky in the machine. Sort of a riding thing. A bit of a ghost rider.
10:01There you go.
10:07I tell you what. Jumps on the end. Well, you've got the lead, Richard. You've got two in the end
10:13over
10:13the tipping point. So it's $200. And when it comes out the end of your bank build around,
10:17you'll have $1,000 with the lead. Definitely. So Mae, you had the first drop into the machine.
10:23You may possibly have the last. No need to buzz in. Oh, okay. You do need to answer. And you've
10:27got
10:27three seconds to do that. Okay. Final question is for you. Launched in 2008 by a creator known as
10:33Satoshi Nakamoto, what was the first prominent cryptocurrency? Bitcoin. Correct.
10:41Yeah. Go, Mae. Um, I'll do number four, please. Yes, that double's working. I want that double.
10:55Perfect. Perfect. It's flat. It did jump on, but it jumped off. Oh, I thought it was a rider.
10:58Okay. Please. You've got it. Good spot. Let's go. Let's go. You've got it, Mae. Oh, my God.
11:09Yeah. Oh, my God. I'm happy with that. Yeah, you say you should be. Because it's a quick
11:16$1,000 coming your way. Five went over, including the double. Yes. We'll take that out. And at the
11:24end of the bank builder round, Mae, you've got 1,800. Eight counter lead over Richard. Casey,
11:30you're going to have to pick up the pace in quickfire, which is coming up next here on Tipping Point.
11:47Welcome back to Tipping Point. Very good opening round from everybody. Casey,
11:51Richard, Mae. One of you will go on to play for the 20,000. So, let's keep the game moving
11:56along
11:57and play quickfire. In the quickfire round, you each have 30 seconds to answer as many questions
12:07as you can. For every correct answer, I give you a counter to play into the machine. And the contestant
12:12with the lowest score at the end of this round, unfortunately, is leaving the game. Mae, you have
12:18the lead by eight counters over Richard. So, that gives you the option of playing first,
12:22if you would like. I think I'll play first. Let's do that. 30 seconds goes on the clock,
12:29Mae, and your time starts now. What is the common term for the temporary sleep disorder caused by plane

13:05Oh. Bye-bye. All right. Good news is, you've still got the eight-counter lead. You've got one
13:12shot at it here. What do you do? What do you think?
13:18Okay, the consensus is two, so we'll do two. Light it up. Light it up.
13:26We've only played the end so far. One and four. First time into the centre.
13:30I like that spot. I think that's a good spot. My goal is three over. There you go.
13:37Ooh. Okay. Mystery down.
13:42Oh! I'm happy with that.
13:45Pretty good effort from just one counter, mate. I think so. I think that's pretty good.
13:48That was six in total, so 600 will go in, comes out of the machine and into your bank,
13:53and you've got 2,400 in the podium. And now to one of the cooler contestants that we've had on
14:00the show, Richard. You are the first contestant, by the way, to sit there so casually with just
14:04one hand on the buzzer. We love it. Thanks, Todd. Yeah, it's cool. Brought something new to
14:09tipping point. Yeah. Do you want to play though? Yes, of course. Okay.
14:1630 seconds is on the clock. Your time starts now. In which of Grimm's fairy tales do children drop
14:22breadcrumbs on a forest path to find their way home? Pass. Hansel and Gretel.

14:39Africa. Russia. What colour is usually marked on ski slopes to indicate a run that is for
14:45the most advanced skiers? Blue. Black. During royal nighting ceremonies?
14:55That weren't the easiest questions. None on modelling and stuff like that.
14:59It's not looking good. No, you're okay. You're seven in front of Casey. Yeah.
15:05Small steps, Casey. Yes, baby steps. Let's do it. You ready to play?
15:09Yep. Good luck. 30 seconds goes on the clock for you. Your time starts now. McHappy Day is an
15:17annual charity initiative held by which fast food outlet? McDonald's. Correct. Without stoppage time,
15:22how many minutes make up a standard game of soccer? 90. Correct. The official flag of the Faroe Islands

15:48Four. Really good, Casey. Thank you. Thank you.
15:53Well played. Thank you. Here's a big opportunity. Yep. Seven to tie. Eight gets you through. Four
15:59counters to play into the machine. Where do you put the first one? Where does she go? I'm going to
16:04go
16:05with two. Please, Todd. Light up two. First of four.
16:16That's a good spot. Pretty good. Good spot. Hopefully we can get something off the top shelf.
16:21Here comes. No. No. Okay, Casey. No luck with that. Here comes your second
16:28counter. Where are you going now? Back to drop zone two, please, Todd.
16:39Yeah. Got it. That could be a good spot. Does it get through the gap? Yes.
16:46We've got one over. Oh, no. Oh, it's an edge surfer. Oh, no. Oh, it's going to sit backwards.
16:53They never do that, Casey. No, they don't. All right. Oh, yeah.
17:00Four. So, 400 goes in. Wonderful. You need three now to tie, Richard. Four to get through.
17:09You've got two more opportunities. All right. Let me check with my family.
17:15Three. Three. Three. I'll go drop zone three. Light it up. First time we've been to three,
17:23so we've been to all four now.
17:28That's a really good spot there. Got down quickly, flat, plenty of room.
17:32Here comes three. Yep. Yes. Really good spot. Oh, my God. Come on.
17:43I'm lucky. Oh. Oh. Maybe. No. Oh, my. They were ready to drop,
17:52and instead of dropping, they've spread across. Yes. So, it could be an even bigger drop with the
17:57last counter. No, it can't. Yes. Richard doesn't want it. No, it can't.
18:03Where are we going? Uh, three, please. Okay. Light up drop zone three. Yes.
18:10You need three to tie, four to stay in the game.
18:17Oh, it's looking good. Surely that gives you something.
18:21It's got something over. Oh, no.
18:26Richard. Richard did it. It wasn't my day, Todd. That's okay.
18:33Oh, my. Casey, I'm going to take the 400, put that into your bank, and it'll give you 700.
18:38Won't be quite enough. And at the end of our quickfire round, May, you got a good lead.
18:452,400. Somehow, Richard's still here. And Casey, unfortunately, we've found your tipping points.
18:52Oh, my God. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.
18:56So, that means that coming up next, Richard, May's your target. She's got a 14-counter lead.
19:02Can you chase her down? We'll find out next.
19:17Well, welcome back, everybody. Richard and May about to go head-to-head. May's got a lead of 14 counters.
19:22But as we just saw at the end of that last round, anything can happen with this machine, partly because
19:27you're still here, Richard.
19:30Who would have thought? Who would have thought?
19:33Now, tell us about the support crew that you've got with you.
19:35I've got Annette, my wife. How's it going, Annette?
19:38Good, good, but not quite good enough.
19:40Oh, right.
19:41You've got to get that 20,000. Annette, can you just show me your hands quickly, please?
19:46I haven't done my name.
19:47You've got like a wooden knob and something else there.
19:50Well, that's in case he doesn't win.
19:52Oh, yeah.
19:53Quite.
19:54I know, Richard.
19:55No pressure, Tom.
19:57And what was I to do with the money?
19:59Oh, well, 35 years ago, Annette and I went over to Italy, flew into Rome, hired a car,
20:05and toured all around the countryside of sort of Italy, and we did it on a budget.
20:09And I'd like to just sort of, with $20,000 in my back pocket, I'd like to do it proper.
20:14Be nice to do.
20:15Yeah, could be.
20:15Well, a bit of work to do to chase down May, so good luck.
20:18And May, you like doing a bit of travel.
20:20I love travelling, yeah.
20:21Favourite places that you've been to?
20:23Probably Prague, Poland, they were really pretty, very fairytale-like.
20:27Aren't they, all the castles and the like?
20:30Yeah.
20:30So, if you were to go travelling again, would you take your mate with you?
20:35I would.
20:35You've got Taylor here supporting you today.
20:37G'day, Taylor, how are you?
20:38Yeah, not bad, thank you.
20:39Good.
20:41So, $20,000 on the line, May.
20:43If you were to get that today, where will you be off to next?
20:47I think Japan or Africa for a safari.
20:51Both fantastic.
20:52All right, well, good luck to you.
20:53You're down here from Brisbane today.
20:55Yes.
20:55You've got a 14-counter lead.
20:56Richard, are you ready?
20:58Certainly are.
20:59You're going head-to-head with May.
21:05And in our head-to-head round, you'll each be asked two questions.
21:07If you get your question correct, you get to play the counter in the machine.
21:10But if you get it wrong, your opponent steals that counter.
21:13And if you are unsure of an answer, you can pass your question.
21:17May, with the lead, it gives you the opening question.
21:21How many single lap lengths make up one kilometre in a 50-metre swimming pool?
21:27Pass or play?
21:31I'll play.
21:34Much easier when the phone's there in the calculator, isn't it?
21:37I know.
21:37I know.
21:38Oh, my.
21:39I obviously know the length of a kilometre, but I need to... 20.
21:47Is that correct?
21:48Let's find out.
21:55Oh, my.
21:57May, 14-counter lead.
21:58Where are you going now?
22:01I need help.
22:03Three, three.
22:03Go for the question.
22:05Okay, I'll do three.
22:07Okay.
22:08Light up drop zone three, please.
22:11Let's go, May.
22:14Go to that one.
22:17That's okay, Ed.
22:19That'll be good if it goes to its right.
22:22There it goes.
22:23That's good.
22:24Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh.
22:27No!
22:30That's okay.
22:31Another Ed Surfer.
22:33One goes on top, one goes back.
22:40Looking good, Todd.
22:41Hi, Richard.
22:42Looking good, Todd.
22:43Richard!
22:44Okay.
22:45Well, Richard, the next question's yours, and there is a pile on there that potentially
22:49could be yours, but you've got to get it correct.
22:52That's right.
22:53What we've got here is failure to communicate, is a famous line from which 1960s film starring
23:00Paul Newman, pass or play?
23:04I know it.
23:08Brubaker.
23:09You're playing.
23:10I'm playing here.
23:11Sorry.
23:12Richard's gone out quickly with-
23:14Brubaker.
23:16Brubaker.
23:17Is that the 1960s film starring Paul Newman?
23:24Cool Hand Luke.
23:26Cool Hand Luke.
23:27Oh, no.
23:28I thought you might have passed that one, just given May her age.
23:32She's too brainy.
23:34Yeah.
23:34She'd know it, so I had to have her go.
23:36Did you know it, May?
23:37I did not.
23:38No.
23:39May, where are you off to now?
23:44I think I'll go back to three.
23:47Back to three, light it up.
23:48I'll go back three, yeah.
23:49It's, it's, have a look at the shadows that are sitting in that wind zone.
23:53We need a rider, mate.
23:55Yeah.
23:56No riders.
23:58Perfect.
23:59Oh, no.
23:59Sketch good, sketch good.
24:00I'm fine with that, I think.
24:02That's it.
24:03Yeah.
24:07Hey, guys.
24:08Keep going, keep going.
24:13Steering on the edge.
24:14There's still a slope sitting there, but it's five for now.
24:18Let's put 500 up.
24:20Let's take it out of there.
24:21And we'll give you May 2,900.
24:2419, you need 20 to go through.
24:27Can Richard find 20 and go on to play for the $20,000 jackpot?
24:31Well, it's a big ask, but we'll find out next.
24:47Welcome back, everybody.
24:49During the break, Richard doing everything he can to try to distract May here to stay in the game.
24:55He's done a great job so far, but May, you've got a 19-counter lead and you've got the next
25:01question coming your way.
25:02Okay.
25:04Released in 1959, Groucho and Me is the autobiography of which member of the Marx Brothers?
25:11Pass or play?
25:14Honestly, I have no idea, to be fair, so I think I'm going to pass.
25:22Beauty.
25:23Groucho Marx.
25:25Yeah.
25:26Do you want the question or that you just said?
25:28Oh, yeah.
25:28Oh, yeah.
25:28Sorry.
25:29Yeah, I can give it to you again.
25:30Yeah, all right.
25:30Released in 1959, Groucho and Me is the autobiography of which member of the Marx Brothers?
25:37I would say Groucho, Marx.
25:39Let's find out if it's Groucho.
25:50All right, let's play this game now.
25:57Where to go?
26:00Drop zone two.
26:02Light up two for Richard.
26:12All right, how many can you pull back?
26:1419 behind, Richard.
26:19What's going on?
26:21Oh, there we go.
26:24There's another push.
26:25There's more, more, more.
26:27How did that happen?
26:30Oh, no.
26:31Oh, no.
26:33Got a double push.
26:34Was there a mystery there, Tom?
26:35That was a mystery how more didn't come over.
26:39You've got yourself three.
26:40Oh, good job.
26:41You've got 16 to find.
26:42300 goes up.
26:43We'll put that into your bank.
26:44You'll have 1,300 chasing 2,900.
26:50So, Richard, you only need eight and the double, and you're tied.
26:55And the answer to the question, Tom.
26:56That's the heart of it.
26:57Good luck.
26:58Here it is.
26:58Final one of the round.
27:00Keep yourself in it.
27:02Broholmer, Briard, and Bolognese are breeds of what domestic animal?
27:07Pass or play?
27:12Don't have to play.
27:13No, I'll pass.
27:16Okay.
27:16Mate.
27:17Domestic animal.
27:19I have two things in my mind.
27:22I love dogs.
27:23I don't think it's a dog, so I'm going to go for cat.
27:28Is Broholmer, Briard, and Bolognese a breed of cat?
27:33Doesn't sound like it.
27:34Go on, Red.
27:38It's a dog, mate.
27:39Is it?
27:40They're dogs, yes.
27:40I've never heard of those dogs in my life.
27:43Oh, my.
27:44Oh, wow.
27:45Spaghetti.
27:47So, Richard, I mean, this would be one of the greatest comebacks.
27:56Which one?
28:00All right, Todd, I'm going to go for drop zone two.
28:04Two?
28:05Yes.
28:06Here we go.
28:07Light her up.
28:09Good luck.
28:16That's a good spot.
28:18Oh, no, no, no, no.
28:19That's a good spot.
28:20I reckon it's a good spot for you, mate.
28:23Hopefully.
28:24Thanks, Todd.
28:25I don't know.
28:26It's got that gap in front.
28:27It's going to have to sweep the tipping point if it's going to happen.
28:30Look at this.
28:34Oh, it tried to wave itself along.
28:38There you go.
28:39In the end, five came over the tipping points.
28:41Another $500 will come your way.
28:43And when we move it, you'll have $1,800.
28:47It was a valiant effort in the end in that head-to-head round.
28:51Mae, with $2,900, congratulations to you.
28:53And, Richard, we found your tipping point.
28:56Yep.
28:56Good.
28:57Good job, mate.
28:58Good job, mate.
28:59Good job.
28:59Good job.
29:00I look forward to hearing and maybe seeing some pictures
29:02about that next trip back over to Italy with you and Annette.
29:05Thanks for coming on.
29:06Mae, well done once again.
29:08You're going to be playing for this.
29:09The jackpot counter, it's worth $20,000.
29:11And we're going to find out after the break
29:13if you're going home with the big bucks.
29:28All right, Mae, we got rid of Richard.
29:29Now you can focus, okay?
29:31Yeah.
29:31You're the winner.
29:32You got $2,900.
29:34That's a nice title.
29:35We'd love you to go home with a lot more than that.
29:36Because if you want to go traveling, you need that sort of money, don't you?
29:40I know.
29:40Yes.
29:41You've just come back recently from a trip.
29:43Where were you?
29:43I was in Croatia and Greece.
29:45Oh, how beautiful is that?
29:47And then if you were to get the $20,000, Africa or Japan?
29:51Yes.
29:51You haven't been to either of those before?
29:52No, I haven't.
29:53And Africa is amazing.
29:54I love animals.
29:55So to be on that kind of trip and to see them in their natural habitat
30:00would be just amazing.
30:02Hey, Taylor, I hear you like traveling too.
30:04Yeah, I've done a little bit of travel.
30:05Tell us about your travels.
30:06I hear the Seven Wonders of the World are in the boxes to be ticked.
30:09We've got about two left.
30:11And the ones that you've seen, what was the highlight?
30:13Probably Taj Mahal, to be honest.
30:15Oh, India.
30:16And the pyramids.
30:17Fantastic.
30:17Well, you two have got some seriously good things to be able to plan in the future.
30:21Yeah.
30:21Both love your travel, but to do it, you need more money.
30:24It's either hard work or a bit of help from Tipping Point.
30:27So let's play the jackpot round.
30:33Time to put that jackpot counter into the machine.
30:35Push it back out.
30:36There's the $20,000.
30:37There is still a double.
30:39We've got a mystery there.
30:40Two in one, one in three.
30:43Perhaps you've got a favorite drop zone.
30:47One, one.
30:47You've got the wall.
30:48There's quite a consensus here today.
30:50Yeah.
30:51I think the double is there.
30:53Yep, and a mystery.
30:54Not many gaps and a mystery.
30:56So I think one.
30:57Let's attack drop zone one.
30:59Light it up.
31:02There we are.
31:07Oh, that's a great spot.
31:08That is perfect.
31:09I'm happy with that.
31:11Up against the left-hand wall.
31:14Down it comes.
31:19No money yet.
31:20It's okay.
31:21But it will come along.
31:22I like the positioning.
31:23Everything worth a hundred as we get set to find out what five categories you're going to play today.
31:28Okay.
31:29You'll have fashion, sport, literature, music and witches.
31:33Oh.
31:33Now, you can choose to play one, two or three counters.
31:36The more you play, the better the chance is that you can get the jackpot counter over the tipping point.
31:41So, where'd you like to start?
31:43I'll probably just start from the top with fashion.
31:45And I think I'm just going to do three for all of them.
31:48Great.
31:48Let's go fashion for three.
31:55Popularized in the 1930s, what was the signature color of Italian-born fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli?
32:01Was it electric blue, industrial yellow or shocking pink?
32:07I actually studied fashion.
32:08I did a diploma, so I'm a bit upset that nothing is sticking out to me at the moment.
32:15Elsa doesn't ring a bell.
32:17Oh, no.
32:17I know the designer.
32:18I'm just not sure about the signature color.
32:22I'm thinking electric blue or yellow.
32:28I think I'll go with blue.
32:30Let's light up electric blue.
32:32And was that the signature color of Elsa Schiaparelli?
32:40Ah!
32:41It was pink, wasn't it?
32:42Oh, my.
32:43Of course.
32:44Shocking pink.
32:45All right.
32:46That's OK.
32:46Never mind.
32:47Let's move on.
32:48So, if we're going down, sport would be next.
32:50Yeah.
32:51And we said we're playing three.
32:53Let's go.
32:54And you love your sport.
32:55Good at touch.
32:58Now, developed by American Lumberjacks, what is a sport in which players try to make each
33:04other lose their balance off a floating log?
33:07Like twirling, burling or unfurling?
33:13Um, I don't know.
33:15I've done this actually at like one of those like game zone places.
33:20I'm not really sure what the actual name is.
33:23I wasn't expecting I've done this.
33:25Yeah.
33:27I'm going to say twirling or burling are the ones that stick out.
33:32I think I'll go with burling.
33:34Let's light up burling.
33:36Please.
33:37And find out if that is the sport that American Lumberjacks do.
33:46Yeah!
33:50Oh, my.
33:51Good work.
33:52OK.
33:53Right.
33:53Now we're off and racing.
33:54Let's go.
33:55Let's get the first counter in.
33:56Light up one.
33:57Come on.
33:58Doubles, mysteries and jackpots all working in the drop zone.
34:04Go left.
34:06Oh, that's OK.
34:07The mystery's there.
34:09That'll clear a fair bit off the top shelf.
34:12Down she comes.
34:14Yep.
34:14That's OK.
34:15That's good.
34:16There comes the double.
34:18Oh!
34:19Lots of money.
34:23That's good.
34:23I'm happy with that.
34:26It looked like that's just the double was coming and then the wave came behind it.
34:30Luckily.
34:31So, in the end, seven came with it.
34:32So, you've got $1,400 going into the bank.
34:35Perfect.
34:36$4,300.
34:38And we've got a second counter to put into drop zone one.
34:41Light it up.
34:47No!
34:47No!
34:48Spin left, not right.
34:50Come on.
34:52That's still a good spot.
34:54Yeah, this might take some money out of drop zone two here.
34:58No, it doesn't.
34:59That's OK.
35:00I feel like it's filled some gaps there.
35:02Yeah.
35:03One more to go.
35:04OK.
35:04Light it up.
35:09Left, left.
35:11Sit, sit.
35:12That's OK.
35:14Maybe it could go down there.
35:16Diagonal.
35:18Yeah, it just shuffles it along.
35:24That's OK.
35:25It's setting it up.
35:26Setting it up.
35:27Sounds good.
35:28Let's go back to the board.
35:29OK.
35:30Moving on down the categories list is literature.
35:33Mm-hmm.
35:33And we're playing for three.
35:36All right, mate.
35:40A book in the Millennium Trilogy by Stig Larsson is the girl who what?
35:47Played with fire, laughed at death, or fell from the sky?
35:54I...
35:54Familiar with this trilogy?
35:56No, no.
35:57No?
35:59I'm going to say probably not laughed at death.
36:03Um, fell from the sky, played with fire.
36:05I'm going to say played with fire.
36:07Let's light up, played with fire.
36:10Please.
36:11Let's go.
36:12And is that the answer we're looking for?
36:17Yeah!
36:21Three more to put in there.
36:23Let's see if we can shuffle this down.
36:24Light her up.
36:28There we go.
36:28Come on.
36:29Left it off.
36:30Yeah!
36:32Is it ready?
36:33It's flat.
36:34Oh, perfect.
36:35That's perfect.
36:35OK, let's go.
36:36All the way to the front edge.
36:38Lovely.
36:38Perfect.
36:39Perfect.
36:40And we'll get a little bit of money to go with it.
36:42Excellent drop.
36:43Good.
36:43Nice one.
36:46Excellent.
36:47We're in a position to get it off the top shelf,
36:49and you've got yourself another $500 to go with it.
36:514,800.
36:54Another one left, and we're in good order.
36:56Light her up.
36:57Drop zone one.
37:00Come on.
37:06That's all right.
37:07Maybe we can get the mystery.
37:11Where is that?
37:12Mystery's just hiding in the right a little bit there.
37:16Still there.
37:17Two more came over.
37:18So that will give you a flat $5,000.
37:21Nice.
37:21There's that number that everyone aims for.
37:24One more here.
37:26Let's see if we can get it on that left side.
37:27Light it up.
37:34Oh, that's it.
37:37Just needed to go.
37:39Keep going left.
37:40Keep going left.
37:41Yes.
37:43Flip.
37:43Yes.
37:47Okay, mate.
37:48Oh, boy.
37:49One came over.
37:51That's all right.
37:515,100.
37:52And it's getting serious.
37:55Getting serious.
37:56We're two pushes away, but we've got to find some more counters.
38:00Let's go back.
38:01Okay.
38:01Final two categories.
38:02Six potential counters for you to play.
38:04If you could get both the questions right.
38:06Yep.
38:07Music for three.
38:09May, which of these artists was not a member of the country music supergroup The Highwaymen?
38:20Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, or Willie Nelson?
38:24I've obviously heard of Johnny Cash.
38:27Hank Williams, no.
38:29Willie Nelson rings a bell.
38:32I think I'll just go Hank Williams just because I've not heard of him.
38:36Light up Hank Williams.
38:39And we'll find out after the break if you're a step closer to winning this $20,000.
38:55All right, it's getting serious here, May.
38:59You've got $5,100 and you're two pushes away from going home with $20,000.
39:04And before the break, country music question.
39:08Yes.
39:08Which of these artists was not a member of the country music supergroup The Highwaymen?
39:13Now, we know Johnny Cash walked the line and Willie Nelson was waiting to get back on the road again.
39:19But was Hank Williams not in The Highwaymen?
39:25Yeah!
39:28Woo-hoo!
39:29Whoa!
39:32Yes, May.
39:33Oh, my.
39:35All right.
39:36Three chances now.
39:38Light up drop zone one.
39:41Come on, May.
39:46Yeah!
39:52May, get down.
39:54Yes, come on.
39:55It's going to get it all the way to the front.
39:57There we go.
40:02One push away.
40:03Okay.
40:04Two chances left in this category.
40:07One came over.
40:08$5,200.
40:11Let's get it done, May.
40:12Let's do it.
40:14Come on, May.
40:21Is that flat?
40:23Is that flat?
40:23It's flat.
40:24It's flat.
40:25Push it that way.
40:27Oh, no.
40:28That's okay.
40:29Oh, no.
40:35Not good.
40:35It's a slow tease.
40:38Come on, this way.
40:39Go left, go left, go left, go left.
40:40Push, push, push.
40:42It pushed it a little bit.
40:43It did, and it gave you an extra.
40:45Let's go, May.
40:45$5,300 now.
40:48That's good.
40:50And it'd be great to get it done and not to have to go back to the category board.
40:54It would.
40:54It would be stress-free, May.
40:57Light it up.
40:57May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May, May.
41:03Oh!
41:06That's right.
41:09You ready, May?
41:11Oh, don't you go that far.
41:19Why does it do this?
41:21Well, we do have one question left.
41:25Oh, okay.
41:26You have positioned that jackpot counter absolutely perfectly.
41:31Three counters should be enough to get it done.
41:34But before we go to that final category of witches,
41:37we're headed to the newsroom.
41:39Yeah.
41:40All right, mate.
41:41Time to get things started once again.
41:43The final category, three counters on offer,
41:45and it comes down to witches.
41:49You said you're playing for three.
41:51Yeah.
41:53This potentially for 20,000.
41:59Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock star as sisters
42:03with supernatural powers in which film?
42:06The Witches of Eastwick, Death Becomes Her,
42:10or Practical Magic.
42:12Oh.
42:13I actually love witches and everything's supernatural,
42:16but I'm a little bit disappointed that I'm not sure.
42:19Again, I think Practical Magic and the Witches of Eastwick
42:24are the ones that jump out at me.
42:28Oh, my.
42:29Practical Magic, I think I've heard of it.
42:31Like, it rings a bit more of a bell.
42:34I think I'm just going to...
42:35My boss always tells me, trust your gut,
42:36so I'm just going to go with Practical Magic.
42:39Yay!
42:39Light up Practical Magic.
42:41We'll see.
42:43Ooh.
42:44Okay.
42:45Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock,
42:47they played sisters with supernatural powers.
42:50Did they play it in Practical Magic?
42:56Yay!
42:59Oh, my God.
43:02My hands are sweating.
43:05Oh.
43:06Wow.
43:07What a get.
43:09What a get.
43:09You have played brilliantly.
43:10It was a slow start, but then four in a row.
43:13We just need one drop on that left-hand side,
43:17and we have the jackpot.
43:18You ready?
43:20Yes.
43:20For $20,000, light up drop zone one.
43:24Yippa!
43:31Yes!
43:32Woo-hoo-hoo!
43:34Come on, now.
43:35Slide all the way down that wall.
43:37Let's go.
43:37Let's go.
43:38Come on.
43:38Yes!
43:39Coming.
43:40It's coming.
43:41It's coming.
43:42And it's up.
43:46Oh, my God.
43:48Oh, I could cry.
43:48Cry.
43:49Oh, my God.
43:54$20,000.
43:55I could actually cry.
43:56Cry.
43:57Go for it.
43:58Let it go.
43:59Let it go.
44:00Give me a good.
44:01Give me a good.
44:01I'm crying.
44:02Yeah.
44:04Oh, good.
44:05How good is that?
44:06Yeah, real good.
44:07Tears.
44:08Oh, my.
44:09Tears.
44:09Why the tears?
44:10I don't know.
44:11Just adrenaline.
44:12Oh, my God.
44:12What have you got to say to her, Taylor?
44:14Yeah, happy for her.
44:14Yeah, fantastic, mate.
44:16And hopefully you two get to go on a lovely trip together.
44:19Oh, my God.
44:19Well done.
