00:00So, I was going through the book, Truth Without Apology, your book, and in chapter 53, which is immersed or
00:09lost, you have mentioned that if you are immersed in the right thing, there is no greater gift.
00:16At times when we make a decision with absolute confidence, why does this shift happen at the very first place?
00:22And more importantly, when it does, how should we really deal with it?
00:27To be immersed is to be one-pointed. Most of the times when you form a goal, it is coming
00:34from some fleeting influence. The goal is not really your own. There was a moment and you picked up something.
00:43Now the moment is gone, the place has changed, and you suddenly say, I don't want to pursue this.
00:48And that is inevitable because what you are pursuing is something of circumstances, something very ephemeral, temporal, coming from your
00:57surroundings, not really from your heart.
01:00And therefore, our focus gets shifted, and we hop from one object to the other, and we do not know
01:08what to pursue. It's very important, therefore, for those who consider life precious, to be very conscious of what is
01:18happening within.
01:19Yes, desires must be pursued, but only those that arise from your heart. And then you must put everything that
01:27you have into that, and that's the meaning of immersion. That's the chapter you were quoting.
