00:03This is Relativity Space's Terran-1 rocket, but it's not like other rockets in its class.
00:08This one was 3D printed, and recently it launched from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Base.
00:14The whole goal of the new rocket type is to make large spacefaring vehicles less expensive,
00:18allowing more frequent and reliable flights.
00:20This particular rocket stands 110 feet tall and is made from 85% 3D printed parts.
00:26And while this launch was no doubt a success, the whole thing was a little less successful in space.
00:31After spending 80 seconds rocketing off our planet and passing the point during the first stage of the rocket's ascent,
00:36where dynamic pressure on the front of the vehicle is greatest, called Max-Q,
00:40it reached speeds of 1,242 miles per hour and a height of 10 miles.
00:45This was the primary objective for the craft, but after passing into space, its second engine failed to ignite,
00:50leaving the rocket dead in its tracks and unable to enter low Earth orbit.
00:56Great!
00:59That's dangerous!
01:00I hope it's been interesting, they are just a superior moment,
