A tragic accident involving the Vande Bharat Express has been reported from Barh railway station in Bihar.A man died after being hit by the Patna–Howrah Vande Bharat Express at platform number 2 around 9 AM. According to officials from East Central Railway, the victim was standing too close to the platform edge when the semi-high-speed train approached.The impact caused severe head injuries, and the victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) have registered a case and launched an investigation.Railway officials have issued a strong safety advisory urging passengers to maintain a safe distance from platform edges during train arrivals and departures.
