00:06There is something special about working in video games that makes every day, even the tough ones, really enjoyable.
00:14The industry changes drastically and there's always a new idea, a new direction being pushed on in terms of how
00:22we want to play and who we want to play with.
00:24Every day is different. I'm always challenged. I'm always learning and I like the creativity.
00:30What keeps me going is just to be that representation, especially, especially as a black woman.
00:41There is no one path into this. I think I've experienced this for sure.

00:58It was the first time feeling like I had like a lot of power and influence in decision making, which
01:04was scary in some ways, but also really cool and feeling like I had impact on the work.
01:10Years later, I realized that that gave me a source of strength that I otherwise never would have had.
01:16That perspective changed my outlook on my career 180 degrees.
01:21We really need to be that engine that's constantly, you know, driving, pushing, moving things along.
01:28It is the metagame of being a designer. It is the next challenge, right? It is that is what I
01:33think drives us as creatives.
01:35And then there's when everything comes together and you can see the character and they're alive.
01:40Create the games you want to see because there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
01:45And then there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
01:56And then there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
01:58And then there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
01:58And then there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
01:59And then there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
02:00And then there's a lot of people that want to see them too.
