00:17And without further ado, let's get to the shrooms so we can get to the doom.
00:26Over the last few months, we've been able to add quite a bit of content for our builders.
00:31And that isn't stopping anytime soon.
00:34To begin, let's talk about the shroom part of this update.
00:37A new building material for you to work with.
00:39How do you use mushrooms in your structures?
00:42Well, there are a few steps you need to take before you can build the base of your dreams.
00:46After you locate the burgle chip in this newly unlocked haze lab, still a work in progress,
00:51You will need to start chopping down mushrooms.
00:55I mean, you can technically do this without the chip if you want mushroom bits for snacks.
00:59But you'll also need them for the new oven and grinder.
01:02Using those tools, you'll be able to craft the shroom bricks.
01:06Not ready for shroom bricks yet? Don't worry.
01:08We've made some changes and added some new items using the current building materials.
01:13Curved doors, half walls, curved half walls, pillars, and much more are available for you to use.
01:20I think I'm finally ready to build my fighting pit now.
01:24And not just that, we've even added a new roof for you to check out.
01:28You can now build crow feather roofs for your base, after unlocking the recipe that is.
01:33And to help you out, we've increased the amount of resources you'll gain from harvesting the feathers you find on
01:40the ground.
01:40To help you customize your base even further, the team has added the ability to flip some structures, such as
01:47a spiral staircase, acorn railings, and the triangle walls.
01:51This will allow you more options when laying out the foundation of your base, and will help with the feng
01:57shui.
01:57Speaking of feng shui, let's go back to talking about fun guys.
02:02The mushroom gardens, to be exact.
02:04These have been renamed to the Garden Patch.
02:07And they do just that.
02:08They let you grow a garden.
02:09You can now grow mushrooms, raw fibers, sprigs, and clovers by planting, you guessed it, mushrooms, raw fibers, sprigs, and
02:19clover tops.
02:20Also, you can now use spoiled meat to help fertilize your new garden patches.
02:25As if you needed another reason for more aphid harvesting.

02:38This update brought with it a ton of other stuff that I know you'll be excited for.
02:43So why talk when we can just show you?
02:57But that's not all.
02:58We've updated photo mode to spiff up the menu, and add some snazzy new features like
03:05Rotate Team, Hide Team, Hide Head Armor, Equipment, and Weapons, Time of Day, Sun Angle, and much more.
03:15We've also made it a tad easier to locate all of the Burgle chips in the yard.
03:20Now, when you save Burgle, you will be able to see all of the chip locations on your map.
03:25It's like treasure hunting, but with a map, and no pirates.
03:28Unless you want to be a pirate.
03:30Who doesn't want to be a pirate?
03:33Also, two new mutations were added to the game.
03:36Giant food items have been adjusted to give you a better time foraging.
03:40Stuffed creatures are now considered buildings instead of deployable items.
03:44Plus, you can now build stuffed ladybugs on stink bugs.
03:48And the durability of almost all weapons, tools, and armor have been increased by 25%.
03:54I would list more in this section, but I really want to get to the doom part of the vlog.
04:01So you're just going to have to read the patch notes for all the details.
04:07So, spiders are kind of creepy, but you haven't seen anything yet.
04:14What would you say if we added a spiky new spider in a scary dark cave that you'll have to
04:23lure out with a BLT?
04:25You'd say we've gone mad!
04:29You can now fight the first boss ungrounded.
04:32The terrifying Broodmother.
04:34Based off of the equally terrifying real-life demon orb weaver.
04:40Venture into the Broodmother's lair.
04:42Offer her tribute.
04:44And then, get ready for a wild ride.
04:49Defeating her will grant you the ability to craft a new weapon and an armor piece.
04:53So good luck!
04:57To round out this vlog, let's talk about a new creature.
05:01And a new feature.
05:02First, you will now discover the latest in the range of modified tasties have been added to the labs.
05:08This enhanced defense variant, called the Arker, is outfitted with a capacitor stack and a hefty arm cannon.
05:15Which unleashes energized balls of charged static for a greater challenge.
05:21Secondly, now for something you've all been asking for since the early, early days of our initial tests.
05:28We've included the first phase of pets.
05:31You can now tame and pet your very own aphid and weevil.
05:36These pets are all unique, with different personalities and traits, that you'll want to collect more than one.
05:42Plus, look at how happy they are when you pet them.
05:46It's so cute!
05:49Complete the pet ownership experience by building a little house for your little buddy and giving them the perfect name.
05:56I named mine Dinner.
06:03We talked shrooms.
06:04We talked Doom.
06:06And then we talked about a ton of other things in between.
