00:13It all starts with you.
00:15Here's your character on the map.
00:17You can change your skin just like in regular Minecraft.
00:22You can see the outline of real world houses and streets around you, but set in a Minecraft environment.
00:27Walk around the neighborhood and tap the icons to gather blocks and even mobs.
00:31The items are called tappables and can be found all around you.
00:37There are new mobs in Minecraft Earth to find and collect.
00:40Is this pig really a pig?
00:42Almost.
00:43It's a different mob variation.
00:45The muddy pig.
00:46Some mobs are rarer than others.
00:48Who knows what you'll come across?
00:50And of course, the chests are always shrouded in mystery.
00:55Anything you collect goes straight into your inventory.
00:58Every tappable gives you valuable experience points.
01:01After you tap enough tappables, you'll level up.
01:04As a bonus, you may also develop impressive cat-like tap reflexes.
01:11Once you've gathered enough resources, it's time to build.
01:14Any flat surface is an opportunity to create.
01:18Use a build plate, a small section of the Minecraft world, for you to build and play on.
01:22You can unlock more exciting plates as you level up.
01:27You can place blocks and mobs you've collected, or mine new blocks from the build plate.
01:32This is a living, breathing Minecraft world.
01:36Water flows the way you'd expect.
01:38Crops grow.
01:39Oh, and fire spreads.
01:41Fast.
01:43You play with friends you invite.
01:45Friends in your world can give you things by dropping them on your build plates.
01:48Or, they can take things away.
01:51In other words, only invite your nicest friends.
01:55Once you're happy with your creation, place it in the real world, at life size.
