00:29death matches that await you
00:31like in any other action RPG
00:33players will be able to fight enemies
00:35earn experience points and level up their characters
00:39however in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot
00:42you are able to power up Goku and friends
00:44in a lot of other ways
00:47eating is especially important
00:49as not only will you be getting temporary buffs
00:52but also a permanent increase in your character stats
00:56you can eat some fruits on the go
00:58or cook meat at campfires
01:01but the best way to acquire food with high stat boosts
01:04is to head to a cook located in towns or small villages
01:08to create dishes
01:09or even better go home talk to Chi Chi
01:12and ask her to create a full course meal for you
01:16you'll have to go on the hunt as you'll be needing ingredients
01:19as well as recipes which you can acquire through sub quests or by talking to NPCs
01:25searching through areas and collecting Z orbs is essential for acquiring super attacks
01:31you're able to collect different Z orbs throughout the game
01:34colored Z orbs are typically found in areas that are related to their color
01:38once you've acquired the necessary Z orbs
01:42open the character's skill tree and unlock slots to acquire new special attacks
01:47or power up existing ones
01:49in order to unlock skills with the green icon
01:52you must visit training grounds located in different areas
01:57in order to access the different training options
01:59you must use D medals which can be found all over the world
02:03searching for Ki will help you find medals a little easier
02:06so be sure to keep an eye out
02:09once you have enough D medals you can begin the mental training against other Z warriors
02:13enemies from the past and even yourself
02:17finally a unique way to power up your party is through the community boards
02:22by progressing through the main story
02:24or helping out different characters from the Dragon Ball Z world through sub quests
02:28you will be gifted with their soul emblems
02:31by placing these emblems on the community board
02:34you can increase the board's rank giving you access to its community skills
02:38these skills will provide helpful effects on your adventure
02:42there are seven different community boards and each provide different community skills
02:47placing specific soul emblems next to one another will activate what's called a link bonus
02:53activating a link bonus makes it easier to raise a community's rank
02:58you may also be able to hear some exclusive dialogue between characters
03:02as you can see the world of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is filled with many ways to grow stronger
03:08and defeat the most fearsome enemies that stand in your way during the adventure
