00:05Hi everyone, I'm Asim Tanvir, Senior Community Manager at CI Games.
00:09I'm here today to give you a look at and talk you through one of the maps that will be
00:13part of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts
00:15when it launches on November 22nd this year.
00:19This is Kolshak Harbour, one of five unique regions that will feature in the game
00:24and a great example of the sandbox approach we're taking with Contracts.
00:28It's up to you how you play and what route you take.
00:31With five Contracts on each map, there's replay value aplenty.
00:35For this video though, we're going to focus on the main target.
00:39I'm more of a stealthy player though, so let's start off with the Silent Pistol.
00:45I seem to have stumbled upon a couple of guards here. Hmm, what to do?
00:53That will do. A couple of quick headshots and I'm on my way.
01:02As I touched upon earlier, this is just one of the routes you can take through this region.
01:06With this path, I'm sneaking around the starting area and another part of the map completely.
01:11These areas are where the other Contracts will be located.
01:15I could take my time and try to complete them too, but for the purpose of this video, the main
01:20target will do very nicely.
01:21I'll come back to the others later.
01:23That's the beauty of Contracts. You play how you want to.
01:33Right, so I think I'm in the area where the main target should be.
01:36But before I take in the view and the sunshine, there's an enemy to take care of.
01:41Hmm, throwing knife?
01:48Yep, that did the trick.
01:52Time to switch to the sniper rifle.
01:54But before we get to some serious business, just look at that view.
01:58The game looks incredible.
02:02Now for the really good stuff.
02:03You'll see me using the binocular mode of the Seeker's Mask here.
02:07A hugely important feature of the game.
02:09Before you snipe or take enemies out, it's always wise to go into this mode and tag them.
02:14To make sure you're not caught off guard.
02:17Another great feature of the Seeker's Mask is the ability to scan your surroundings.
02:22Using this in combination with the binocular mode, you can see here that I'm able to highlight areas of interest
02:28and see exactly where this sniper is aiming.
02:31Okay, let's get sniping.
02:33Here's a look at our new dynamic reticle system.
02:36Taking into account distance, wind, height and bullet drop, it represents our vision to deliver fans the ultimate sniping experience.
02:44Once mastered, the satisfaction of nailing a 300m plus shot is simply unrivaled.
02:53Here you'll see me switching to the luring bullet type.
02:56While the enemy here is away from the guys on the boat, best to take him out a bit further
03:00away.
03:02Okay, it worked.
03:04He's fully distracted.
03:05Now to quickly switch back to the normal bullet type and as he walks to check out what the noise
03:10is, take him out.
03:27So, I could go over the bridge here, but given the number of enemies, plus the fact there's a tank
03:32and turrets there, it's probably not the best idea given my stealthy playstyle.
03:38That's not to say it can't be done though, I've seen it happen, just not by me.
03:42They are expecting trouble.
03:58Right, I'm underneath the bridge now, but even this route isn't completely clear.
04:02There's an enemy here I tagged earlier, time to snipe him as he gazes across the water and make my
04:08way forward.
04:14Traversing the environment also plays a part in contracts, so it's a good thing then that the seeker is adept
04:19at finding his way around, with style.
04:24The handler has a role to play too.
04:48Interesting, but we'll get to Eagle and Olga later. For now, I have these two guards to worry about. Now
04:54might be a good time to try out the decoy truck.
04:56Just one of the many gadgets you can purchase as you complete contracts throughout the game.
05:02Let's see how this plays out.
05:09What the hell?
05:25I lured one of the guards away while the other keeps watch.
05:29Now is the time to strike.
05:36Expertly done.
05:41Scanning the area again just to be sure, either way, doing it earlier on revealed a couple
05:46of areas I could progress through.
05:52I think I'll go for the more aerial route, my seeker is an expert sniper after all.
05:57Plus, I just love the views.
06:19Phew, I made it.
06:21A quick scan now just to see what's around and onwards.
06:29Two more guards here, just chatting away.
06:33Hmm, I think I might have an inventive way of taking them out.
06:59So now I've made it to the roof of this building, I could go straight for the sniper there, but
07:04I'm being extra careful.
07:06And it's a good thing too.
07:07There's a camera here, best to disable it and then make that sniper's spot my own.
07:19weapon.
07:20What a view.
07:22But I'm not here to sightsee.
07:23Let's tag the enemies in this area and see what I have to deal with.
07:34It looks like there are a few snipers, an armoured guy and even a drone.
07:39There might be more.
07:40I could do with some help here.
07:45Time to use the trusty tagging bullet for when you need to tag far away enemies or simply check
07:51if anyone's around.
08:01That worked like a charm.
08:03Tagged in orange is the main target, Eagle, and in blue is his wife, Olga.
08:08Let's see what they have to say.
08:34I could take my time here and eliminate both of them.
08:38But in this instance, my focus is Eagle.
08:41As I'll have to exfiltrate when he's down, it would be wise to get rid of the biggest threats
08:45in this area to make my life just a little bit easier.
08:49That means I need to turn my attention to the snipers, an armoured enemy I tagged earlier.
09:16A quick switch to the armour-piercing bullet and this guy shouldn't be a problem.
09:30Oh, and now we have a helicopter inbound too.
09:34It's for Olga, so no need for me to worry, but a small hint that if I was going for
09:39her,
09:39then I need to be wary of this.
09:54That's all the biggest threats down.
09:56Now to figure out a way to get Eagle.
10:01Scanning the area close to him reveals his car as a way to potentially lure him out.
10:06Let's see.
10:13That did the trick.
10:14Now, time to finish this.
