00:00We live in this country and in this world where there's always this vibrant debate about do we have too
00:04much regulation, do we have too little regulation, but as you all know, any technology, any industry needs to be
00:15safe, and I think that starts with the people who make it, so whether we have a lot of regulation
00:22or no regulation, we have our own guardrails that we place on our AI systems.
00:27I think it's very different scenarios with public-facing AI.
00:34We have to protect children, or we don't deserve to be in business, in my view, so child safety is
00:41a prerequisite.
00:43We need to be protecting privacy, and we need to be protecting security and cybersecurity, whether it's an individual or
00:51especially, say, for enterprises and the like,
00:55and there will be a constant debate on regulation.
00:58I think we'll see different parts of the world probably continue as they have to take different approaches.
01:04Maybe we'll see some global convergence over time, but not in the next couple of years.
01:11We'll see you in the next couple of years.
