00:00Jack!
00:05Jack!
00:08It's gonna be okay.
00:10It's gonna be okay, Jack.
00:18Back here again.
00:25Do you know where you are, Jack?
00:26Can you tell me what day it is, where you are, and why you're here?
00:30Right.
00:31It hasn't been my best week.
00:32I was all ready to roll out my new AI script, Babylon.
00:36I've been training it on the stock market,
00:37and in every simulation it makes a ton of money.
00:41I got this letter.
00:42Jack, this is a job offer.
00:43So Ellen was breathing down my neck.
00:44Get off your ass and do something!
00:46I figured it was now or never.
00:50Something backfired.
00:53It came over.
00:54But the nurse doesn't need to hear my sob story.
00:56So?
00:57I just look up and smile and say,
00:59I'm at Denver Plymouth Central Hospital and Psychiatric Ward.
01:01The date is March 16th, and I'm here because...
01:06The mind is capable of some extraordinary things.
01:09Oh, that's trippy.
01:10Some of those things can really help us.
01:12And some get in our way.
01:15So what's the problem?
01:16The only thing I can come up with
01:18is that maybe it's running up against encryption
01:19that it can't defeat.
01:20That's just how the math works.
01:21Those are the rules.
01:22But what if you could change rules?
01:24What does that even mean?
01:26I'm talking about something like...
01:27Like a skeleton key.
01:29Something that could unlock any door
01:32without leaving behind so much as a fingerprint.
01:34So what does it do?
01:36You wanna check it out?
01:36We can use it to get room service
01:38or backstage passes to a show.
01:40Like anything you want.
01:42Is it real?
01:45I've been thinking about that a lot recently.
01:48And?
01:52You ever hear the game of life, Jack?
