An India Today report from Beirut, Lebanon examines the Israeli Defence Forces' attacks on Hezbollah strongholds.
Transcript
00:00But now let's get you a report that my colleague Ashraf Fani has been getting us from Lebanon, Beirut to
00:07be specific,
00:08where the IDF has mounted the attacks and they have gone not just for the Hezbollah strongpoles,
00:14while they had issued several warnings of how civilians must clear up that entire belt.
00:19You literally see so many structures that have been raised to the ground
00:22and those scenes that continue to come in as the IDF has gone all out for the Hezbollah establishments.
00:29Let's take a look at this report.
00:31Behind me on the Mediterranean Sea, the mountain which you are seeing is the Nakora.
00:38It is the town which is already partially captured by the IDF soldiers.
00:46They have made ground invasion in that part of the South Lebanon
00:50and currently battle is going on between Hezbollah fighters as well as the IDF soldiers.
00:58But cutting the excess for the Hezbollah and also for the population living here,
01:06the only motive of the IDF is how the Hezbollah could be isolated
01:12so that they could not get further supply of the weapons and the logistics from the rest of the country.
01:21For that, there is a big question that how much subtle stock of the arms and ammunition remains with the
01:31Hezbollah
01:32in this southern part of the Lebanon.
01:35So far, they have put in surprise the IDF, the way IDF was claiming that all the capabilities of missiles
01:47and drones
01:47within the Hezbollah has been deteriorated.
01:51But the way Hezbollah is continuously not only firing the drones but even the missiles towards northern parts of Israel
02:04is certainly a surprising idea.
02:08Ashrafani, find you today in Taya, Lebanon.
