00:34I think what you'll find is a much more immersive experience, much more representative of what real fighters go through.
00:39We have weigh-ins, a lot more interviews.
00:41We also have this concept of starting rivalries, and you get to kind of pick a fighter voice,
00:46and throughout interviews you can decide what kind of response you're going to give about your opponent, about your sponsors.
00:52I mean, Ed, you've been a manager for a long time. You've kind of gone through this.
00:55I never really get any sort of antagonistic feelings from your guys.
01:00Is it just absolute confidence that these guys have?
01:03Definitely his confidence, but I just think that all of our guys are really good guys,
01:08and all the guys I manage, I tell people all the time, it's more like a family.
01:13It's more a group of guys that there's no one that I manage that I wouldn't let stay at my
01:17house.
01:20The game will actually track how you actually proceed in the game.
01:23If you're a guy that does a lot of head kicks in the game, eventually your opponents will start taking
01:28you down
01:29or, you know, going to the ground trying to exploit your weakness.
01:31Rogan and Goldberg might call out, like, the guy's knocked out his last five opponents via head kick,
01:35so you can't use the same game plan over and over again.
01:39And with your guys, what's the thought process that goes on there?
01:41You know, all the guys like to watch a lot of the fights.
01:44Some guys like to watch it less than others, but most of the time, all the coaches are always paying
01:48attention a lot to their previous fights.
01:51Every fight is different.
01:53A perfect example would be the last fight against, you know, Cain Velasquez against Rodrigo.
01:59You know, you really thought, even though he was knocking people out, he was really new when he was wrestling.
02:04So we thought that he was going to come in, and Rodrigo really believed that he was going to take
02:08him down.
02:09And, you know, he came in with the wrong strategy.
02:12And obviously Cain came in with the right strategy and won the fight.
02:21So much like in the real UFC, we give players the opportunity to train at different camps.
02:26This year it's not boxer, wrestler, you know, Muay Thai Jiu-Jitsu guy.
02:29You're just learning specific moves, and you go work with members of these camps to get these moves.
02:34So, for example, if I'm in, you know, heavyweight, I work with Junior on boxing, and I work with Noguera
02:40on my Jiu-Jitsu.
02:41And as a result, I'll get these specific moves that I'll be able to apply to my fighter.
02:46So, I can career mode.
02:47On top of being able to create my own fighter, I can create my body type, my weight class, what
02:53brand shorts I wear, what sponsors I have.
02:58And then I can also choose what camp I want to go train with.
03:00Correct.
03:01And all these things get unlocked in tiers.
03:03When you first start out in your career, nobody knows you, nobody wants to sponsor you, you know.
03:07But if you fight better, if you start winning, people will start to recognize you, notice you, and want to
03:11offer you stuff.
03:17You've had, like, a long career in history with these guys and kind of watched them all grow up.
03:21You know, they came from all different places.
03:22You know, he got his first fight in the U.S. and was in the WFA.
03:25And what a great segue, you know, in our career mode, we have this aspect of where instead of, you
03:30know, jumping right into the UFC,
03:31you actually start off your fights in the WFA, much like Lyoto.
03:34And then at some point, if you perform well, you actually get to move off into the UFC.
03:42Heavyweight Championship of the World!
03:46I'm here with the winner and now new champion!
03:50Well, I think they got a little taste of some of the features in the career mode for UFC Undisputed
