00:00RATED T for TEAM
00:25Welcome to the fourth of five videos of how to play Whirling Conflict.
00:30In the previous video, I talked about fortifications and teamwork. In this video, I will show you the different game
00:36modes.
00:37Whirling Conflict is a team-based game with many different maps, and all of these maps are connected to one
00:42of three game modes.
00:43These three game modes are Domination, Assault, and Tug of War.
00:55In Domination mode, two teams fight for Domination over a number of command points that are spread out across the
01:00map.
01:02The team that controls the most command points will push the Domination bar to that team's advantage.
01:07We captured the airstrip.
01:09You win Domination by holding the majority of the Domination bar when the time runs out, or by holding it
01:14completely.
01:19If you control all the command points on the map, the Domination bar will move twice as fast as it
01:24did before.
01:24This is called Total Domination.
01:37Assault mode is played in a set of two rounds.
01:40In each round, one team acts as Defender, while the other team plays the role of Attacker.
01:48The attacking team must take a number of command points in a preset order of succession.
01:53When the attacking team takes control of the first command point, a second command point will appear behind it.
02:03When time runs out, or when the attackers take control of all the command points, the sides are switched, and
02:08it's the other team's turn to attack.
02:11In order to win, the second team must capture more command points than the other team, or capture them faster.
02:32In tug-of-war mode, one long command point acts as a frontline.
02:37Both teams struggle to control all the perimeter points at the same time, to push the frontline forward.
02:44The match is won when one team pushes the frontline all the way to the other team's side,
02:50or when a team has pushed the enemy back and holds the majority of the map when the time runs
02:54out.
03:00These are the three game modes of World in Conflict, but all of them are also available in what we
03:05call Few-player mode.
03:10Few-player mode is just like a regular World in Conflict game, except it's played either as one-on-one
03:16or two-on-two.
03:18This mode gives all the players more power, increasing the amount of reinforcement points at hand, and opens up all
03:24the units in the reinforcement menu.
03:26This is a very challenging game mode, that requires a lot of skill and attention from the players.
03:32And that's the different multiplayer game modes available in World in Conflict.
