00:06I am deeply concerned about the conflict. Iran has to seize immediately its threats,
00:12laying of mines, drones and missile attacks, and other attempts to block the strait to
00:17commercial shipping. The recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the
00:23Gulf, attacks on civilian infrastructure, including oil and gas installations, and
00:28the de facto closure of the strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces is unacceptable and must
00:34be condemned. I also want to emphasize that freedom of navigation is a fundamental principle
00:40of international law. We think that it is time to go to the negotiation table and to end
00:47the hostilities. The situation is critical for the energy supplies worldwide. We all feel
00:56the knock-on effects on gas and oil prices, our businesses and our societies. But it
01:05is of utmost importance that we come to a solution that is negotiated and this puts an end to the
01:12hostilities that we see in the Middle East. Thank you.
