00:00Canada has taken advantage of the United States of America for far too long and they've taken
00:05advantage of the United States in a couple of different ways. Number one, they have allowed
00:09us to subsidize their entire military, their entire security. Canada pays virtually nothing,
00:16at least until a couple of years ago, for their own security, which means we had to foot the bill
00:21for that security. We have let so many people over the entire time that I've been alive
00:26take advantage of the United States of America. The president said, if you're going to apply
00:30a tariff to our goods, we're going to start applying a tariff to your goods too. It's basic
00:35fairness. And that's what we've done. And our hope with Canada, and I think we'll get there
00:40eventually, is we're going to get to a point where Canada treats our workers fairly, we treat
00:44their workers' family, and they're going to be a true ally and a true friend, not somebody who's
00:49taken advantage of us, which is what they've done for most of my life.
