00:51and despite Tehran denying any dialogue had taken place.
00:55Israel's military gave three warnings of missile launches from Iran
00:59while Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia all reported intercepting strikes.
01:05Trump's comments had prompted a positive response from jittery markets,
01:10pushed oil prices down, and suspended a deadline he imposed for Iran
01:15to reopen the Strait of Omer's shipping lane or see the U.S.
01:19Trump's, quote, obliterate its power plants.
01:22Trump, who extended his deadline by five more days,
01:25said his administration was speaking with an unidentified, quote, top person.
01:31Media reports identified that person as Mohammed Bager Kalibaf, Iran's Speaker of Parliament.
01:37However, Kalibaf said in a social media post that no negotiations were underway.
01:43Israel, meanwhile, has continued its aerial attacks on Lebanon early on Tuesday,
01:48saying it was targeting Hezbollah infrastructure.
01:51At least two people were killed in strikes on multiple neighborhoods in Beirut's southern suburbs.
01:57Earlier, three bodies were pulled from the rubble of a residential building in Tehran,
02:02destroyed in an Israeli airstrike, according to the Iranian Red Crescent.
02:06The death toll from the war has risen to more than 1,500 people in Iran,
02:12over 1,000 people in Lebanon, 15 in Israel, and 13 U.S. military members.

02:26and four are still missing in a military cargo plane crash in southwestern Colombia on Monday.
02:32The incident happened over the remote Amazonian municipality of Puerto Leguizamo,
02:38which borders Peru and Ecuador.
02:41Colombian army officials say the plane experienced problems immediately after takeoff.

04:54The move uses a special procedure to ensure the deal takes effect,
04:59despite a judicial review launched by the European Parliament,
05:02after a pivotal vote suspended ratification on the 21st of January.
05:07The priority now is turning this EU-Mercosur agreement into concrete outcomes,
05:13giving EU exporters the platform they need to seize new opportunities for trade, growth and jobs.
05:19As EU Trade Commissioner Markos Sefcovic said,
05:21adding provisional application will allow the EU to begin delivering on that promise.
05:27The agreement liberalizes trade flows between the EU and Mercosur countries,
05:31creating a free trade area of more than 700 million people.
05:36The Commission signed off on the deal and secured backing from EU member states,
05:41despite strong opposition from EU farmers,
05:43who fear unfair competition for Mercosur imports.
