New Year's countdown in Jingzhou, China, turns magical as balloons fill the night sky

Jingzhou, China, rolled out the red carpet for 2026 on a fabulous note, and a glimpse of the celebration is featured in this video.

As the countdown clock hits zero, the massive crowd releases balloons and floaties in unison, turning the serene night sky into a full-on celebration.

There is no doubt that most, if not all, of the people gathered to welcome 2026 are hopeful that the year ahead will mark the beginning of something great.
