1,500 Amazonian turtles released in Brazil's Rio Negro
In the heart of the Amazon rainforest, along the Rio Negro, more than 1,500 Amazonian turtle hatchlings (Podocnemis expansa) were released into the wild in a coordinated conservation effort.
