00:10Rho III.
00:11And I also was lucky enough to get a chance to write the Power Trailer.
00:14So here's an exclusive behind the scenes commentary on some of the easter eggs and
00:20fun stuff that's going on in the Saints Row III Power Trailer.
00:25So here a lot of people have commented on it already.
00:28In the beginning we see Johnny Gadd, the Saints are celebrities, so we have the Saints flow
00:32energy drink.
00:33And then Philippe Loren shows up to crash the party with Da Winter Sisters and his
00:39Morningstar.
00:40The selection of the song, Power, was actually something that was written into the script
00:45originally.
00:45So all the beats was timed to the music.
00:47We spent a lot of time massaging the track.
00:50So entering into the Saints penthouse, there's a couple things that you can go and notice.
00:55It's a little hard to see because the partygoer's thumb is obscuring the bottom of the invitation.
01:01But it says, Welcome the Saints to Steelport, and underneath the fleur-de-lis is the text
01:05sponsored by the Saints Altor Media Group.
01:08It's our little nod to the fact that the Saints have partnered with Altor, so they're throwing
01:12this coming out party here in Steelport.
01:17On the website, a lot of people are talking about the Da Winter Sisters being like these
01:22assassins, and they're really not.
01:24They're like really awesome personal assistants who are business women and they're savvy, but
01:31they're not like kill bots.
01:32they're really smart and savvy women.
01:36And that's a little misconception that I see get pushed around a lot on the forums.
01:41As you move through the party, there's a couple other Saints there.
01:44There's Pierce is there with Gat in the beginning.
01:47Josh Burke is there signing his 8x10.
01:50There's Shondi.
01:51She's got a different look.
01:52She's a reality TV star now.
02:00The Saints bottle, of course, is a Saints Row branded bottle of champagne that gets busted
02:04up.
02:05And if you look really closely at his vest, he's got lots of little fleur-de-lis because
02:07the Saints have their own clothing line.
02:09The character typing on the sofa is named Kinsey Kensington.
02:14Agent Kinsey Kensington used to be a member of the FBI who has left the agency to go and
02:20help the Saints.
02:21If you notice behind her on the TV, Monica Hughes is on the screen giving a press conference
02:27and she is now a senator.
02:29She's no longer a mayor.
02:30So here comes the player.
02:32It was hard to go inside and look for him because the player can be like anybody.
02:37we tried to pick a guy, just made him look young and cool.
02:41I think in hindsight it might have made him look a little too much like Johnny Gat, but
02:45I think this thing looks really slick.
03:00Angel de la Muerte with the Tornado DDT.
03:03This is one of my favorite parts of the trailer.
03:05Both myself as well as the lead animator are big wrestling fans.
03:11And as a result, we tried to go and subvert it whenever possible with some wrestling love.
03:15If you notice on the coffee table, there is a magazine with Kilbane, Angel's tag team partner
03:21on it.
03:22And the text is really small, but it says world class champion or world class criminal.
03:28and Kilbane is one of the antagonists who used to work with Angel and they had this falling out.
03:35And up here is Oleg Kurlov with a V, not an R. There was a typo in Game Informer.
03:41Now it's kind of become legacy and hopefully we can go and squash that right now.
03:44Oleg is our eight foot tall chess playing juggernaut of Saints Row III.
03:52Stag is another part of the puzzle that the Saints have to go and deal with.
03:56It's not just the Syndicate, it's also Stag.
03:58The Saints are pretty much fighting a two-front war throughout the game.
04:03Stag does not play favorites.
04:05Stag is there to stop the gangs and that means all the gangs.
04:09And here's our parting shot to those who stick it through to the end.
04:13Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax is one of our signature activities in Saints Row III.
04:20And Professor Genki is the homicidal cat mascot of this show,
04:24who leads people on a delightful game show for fun, profit and murder.
04:30And there's going to be a lot more Genki coming and I think it's safe to say that you're not
04:35ready.
04:36Thank you so much for listening and thank you for all the support that the community has given Volition
04:40and the Saints Row brand. We wouldn't be here without you guys.
04:44So stay tuned to SaintsRow.com for more information.
04:49We're going to have lots of new stuff coming down the pipe and be ready on November 15th.
