00:00Rated M for Mature
00:31All the talent from the series reprised their roles in the game
00:34I had a lot of fun seeing their characters in 3D
00:39Seeing the new situations
00:40Because they actually probably had more lines in our game
00:42Than they had in the series
00:43We had more crazy situations for them to be in
00:46Especially Sam Jackson
00:47He had an amazingly good time with Paul Gardner
00:49Our game design director
00:51Creating really unique situations
00:53Where he could just rip on Afro
00:56Signifying monkey style
00:57It's really, really funny
00:59I think it was really important
01:01Talking about the consistency in the game
01:03But we also had this great consistency
01:05In the performances of the actors
01:08So, you know
01:09Alongside Kelly Who, Sam Jackson, Ron Perlman
01:12We had actors who were really well known as voice actors
01:17Phil Lamar, you know
01:19And the level of their performances was just incredible
01:32Every actor read something into the script
01:34Or drew something from the script
01:35That maybe wasn't the way I imagined when I was writing
01:40But it really added emotional depth to the characters
01:44Ninja Ninja performs multiple roles in the game
01:47He's your hype man
01:49He's your sidekick
01:50He gives you direction
01:54He'll bull you out if you make a mistake
01:57He'll criticise
01:59He kind of takes this role that's almost the player's perspective
02:04So he'll complain about stuff
02:06If he thinks something's wrong
02:07He'll criticise something if he thinks it doesn't make sense
02:12So he's, yeah
02:14He kind of represents the player's point of view in the game
02:16I guess we tried to make sure
02:18With the kind of mature content
02:21That it was actually mature
02:23That it's kind of
02:25It comes from the concept and the context
02:28And the individual characters
02:30So Ninja Ninja is
02:32That's an inherent part of his personality
02:35How he talks
02:36And how he communicates and conveys
02:38Expresses himself
02:39It was fitting that he would talk like that
02:42Use that kind of language
02:44It's pretty much limited to him
02:47Because he's that kind of character
02:49The other characters express themselves in different ways
02:52So I think as long as
02:54We always made sure that it came from
02:56The characters and from the concept
02:58Then, and we stay true to that
